“good for cheap overnight”

Good to find hotel that still accomodate smokers which was very hard to fnd downtown at a reasonable rate. We had our own floor for smokers as to not annoy others. Staff was very pleasant and helpfull. Good service on our requests upon arrival and able to leave our luggage there after check out for the day. Room was small but nice and clean. Would visit again.

Très bon accueil de la part de tout le personnel de cet hotel, si je dois retourner à MONTREAL, pourquoi pas dans cet hotel; il est très bien situé par rapport au centre ville et au vieux MONTREAL, non franchement très sympa.

“Just what you need”

A cheap hotel in a good location. Room is tiny, but who wants to spend time in the room anyways? Two blocks from excellent shopping and directly across the street from Bell Centre.

While the room was very small, it was clean. For the price (very competitive!) and the location (across from the Bell Centre and a 5 MINUTE walk to St. Catherine - you can't do better. It is not 5 star but I would stay again.

The room was small with a shared bathroom. It was adequate for our needs. Having a TV was appreciated. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

“Simple, good value for money hotel, near city centre”

I was received in a polite and friendly way. The room was small, comfortable and well-equipped. Everything was clean. The bed was fine. There were a wide variety of TV channels (English and French). The breakfast was simple, but adequate, and the breakfast staff were friendly. The mainly language spoken is French, so I advise, out of politeness, to prepare at least a few works in French if you're not a habitual French speaker. Overall, a very good and positive experience. Good value for money. The surrounding area may put you off, but it's very close to the main avenues and Old Montreal. The metro station is very close-by, but you can walk to the old city in 20 minutes, and to the main avenues in about 10 minutes. I can recommend this hotel.

Mise à part la serveuse du petit déjeuner (bruyante et peu aimable) ainsi que le peu de choix proposé pour ce repas, il n'y a rien à reprocher à l'hotel !

“Budget Stay”

This is a small hotel, walking distance from downtown and St. Catherine's street. The rooms are very small and lack all amenities one might expect from a hotel. There no coffee maker, hair dryer, mini fridge, etc. If you're looking for luxuries and amenities, don't stay here. The breakfast included is minimal, and their one croissant per person policy is strictly enforced. On the bright side, the hotel was quiet, front desk people spoke english, and the rooms were tidy.
