“Quiet hotel downtown”
We stayed for one night at the Hotel Swann. This is a small boutique hotel situated on a quiet-ish street (Drummond) right downtown, but centrally located near museums, shopping areas and both McGill and Concordia Universities. Hotel signage is pretty much nonexistent: you have to know that it is there! This is not an hotel with lots of amenities: tiny lobby (looks cool, though), no room service, etc. Rooms are quite small, but very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and our room was very quiet (frankly, I go to an hotel to sleep, so this is a huge plus). The included "continental breakfast" is essentially croissants (or muffins) and Nespresso café, served in the lobby. Not a huge variety (or quantity), but this being Montreal, the pastries were from a local bakery and very tasty. IMO this beats more elaborated breakfasts elsewhere where stale food is served... Not my absolute favorite hotel in Montreal, but given the price and the location, I will certainly return.
“Unique hotel, friendly & helpful staff, fantastic location!”
We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Montreal for a short vacation. The hotel has a great decor and our room was very nice & spacious. Our king size bed was comfortable and the showers are by far the best I've ever been in. The toiletries are from a local company - Bella Pella - and were great (actually went to their shop and bought some soap to take back with it). We stayed on the second floor and could hear the noise/music downstairs which might annoy some people but it never prevented us from getting to sleep. The staff there were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. One girl on the front desk helped us find the best Thai restaurant - in a spot that we never would have visited on our own. The location of the hotel is also excellent. There are tons of restaurants/bars and shops near by, as well as the Peel Metro station. Also, in the mornings they have crossiants & a variety of teas/coffees available in the lobby which is a great way to start the mornings. We had a fantastic experience at this hotel.

“Will Stay Again Hotel Chez Swann”
Hotel Chez Swann is a small but a very new hotel conveniently located in downtown Montreal. Its decoration and ambiance are unique. The hotel staff is extremely helpful. The continental breakfast that they serve (muffin and croissant with coffee and tea) in the lobby of the hotel is small but delicious. The only two issues were that it says it has fitness, but what they mean with fitness is that five spinners in a small room. As a treadmill person that was something that I didn't like but didn't think of it as an extremely important problem. But if you want a more sophisticated exercise experience and willing to pay 17 CAD per day, there is YMCA right across the street. The other thing, the hotel might me a bit difficult to find because it doesn't say Hotel Chez Swann outside. Overall, if I end up in Montreal in the future, I would absolutely stay at Hotel Chez Swann again. It has been one of the most pleasant hotel stays that I had in the past few years. I recommend it to fellow travelers.

The decoration of the room is unique.A window is separating the shower from the bedroom and wood logs are used as bedside tables.The room is wide and the bedding is very confortable
“Superbe hôtel urbain”
Cet hôtel s'inscrit dans la tendance des nouveaux hôtels chics, urbains et trendy. Le décor théâtral mais épuré de la chambre est tout simplement splendide. La double douche vitrée qui donne dans la chambre ajoute au côté design et glamour. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé, à 30 secondes à pieds de Ste-Catherine. Beaucoup de restos à proximité et près du métro Peel. Le petit déjeuner qui est offert au lobby est bien. Les seuls bémols: pas de petit frigidaire dans la chambre et pas de parking propre à l'hôtel. Néanmoins, un parking situé à 2 min est suggéré par l'hôtel. En somme, un hôtel parfait pour une couple urbain qui désire se promener au centre-ville. Nous avons eu une très belle expérience Chez Swann et nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitations.
“Fantastic Stay”
The small but very very special boutique hotel,in the heart of Montreal.The staff was fantastic,the coffee and fresh pastries in the morning was a great treat. The rooms were decorated in great taste.The bed was sooooo comfortable.The slippers and rode was a great touch.Check in and check out was quick and easy. The rooms were extremely well kept. I would definitely go back. Everyone should visit. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Un hôtel d'exception à Montréal”
L’hôtel Chez Swann est parfaitement situé au centre-ville de Montréal, près des activités, des magasins, des restaurants et des bars. Tout se fait à pied. Il est facile d'accès avec un stationnement tout près. Les chambres sont confortables et distinctives. L'accueil est toujours chaleureux et les viennoiseries et le café Nespresso au petit déjeuné excellents.
“Most Romantic Hotel in Montreal”
This Hotel was fantastic. This is definitely a couple's hotel. The rooms were clean and very modern. Everything seemed brand new. The bathroom was my favorite because it had a very European-style shower. The bed was very comfortable and the lighting concept in the room brought attention to all the artistic intricacies. The hotel staff were very helpful and always available. I will stay at this hotel again for sure.
