“Sam Greco”
I had stayed at this hotel last year. Instead of receiving a room with 2 double beds, only one room with a queen bed was available. The hotel later gave me a free night's stay, and 4 free breakfast coupons. I bought another night, and took my parents this time to this hotel. After a 6+ hour drive, the hotel was friendly, our room was perfect, the breakfast was delicious, and I was more than please with the Holiday Inn Centreville this time.
“Great location”
Conveniently located within easy walking distance to Old Montreal. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. A continental as well as a hot breakfast buffet were available. The continental buffet was extensive the staff were helpful and friendly.

“Nice hotel, good location”
We traveled with a small child and were most concerned with his comfort, a convenient location, and a good price. With Old Port and Chinatown both an easy walk and the Place d'Armes metro stop across the street, the location really can't be beat. Our price included an expansive breakfast (overlooking the koi pond, which the toddler enjoyed). The staff were friendly and multi-lingual, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the amenities (swimming pool, fitness facility) were fine. If we get a good price on a future visit, we'll stay here again.

“Awesome Location!”
The hotel is located on the edge of China Town and just 1 block from Old Montreal. It only takes a few minutes to walk to St.Laurent, St. Denis, St. Catherines (great shopping areas) and Cresent Ave (tons of bars and a few Irish Pubs- HurleysPub was amazing, great live band). We got a smoking room to save on $ but neither of us smoke. The hallways were very smoky but our room didn't have an odour at all. The room was clean and large but nothing special. There were a lot of sirens pretty much throughout the whole day but they weren't loud enough to wake us even with the window open.The pool is small and so is the workout room and the hot tub needs an update. If you happen to stay at this hotel or are in the neighbourhood you should check out Harmonie Patissiere which is located on Gauchetiere (pedestrian walkway in China town-right behind the hotel). They are open 8:30am-10:00pm but just start putting things out at 8:30...they only take cash and there's no seats but the pastries are to die for!!!! Super cheap too!! We were only in town for 4 days and we went 4 times! A great place for lunch in Old Montreal is Marche de la Villette- the servers (they may have been the owners) were charming and fun and although the service was a bit slow it was definitely worth the wait. It's located at 324 rue St.Paul Ouest.

We booked a double room, but they did not have it so they gave us a large suite. They brought more beds into the room. Everything was good.

The Holiday Inn Select Montréal Centre-Ville was the perfect hotel for our recent visit to Montreal. My wife and son and I went up for a long Thanksgiving weekend. It was nicely located for exploring Chinatown, Old Town, and easy to drive to in our car. We went to visit Notre Dame (which we could see from our room) a couple of times as the lights fascinated my son. It was an easy walk to the planetarium, the science museum, the archeology museum, and there were always taxis waiting outside to take us to more distant locations. It's a great place to stay with children, as the koi pond in the lobby is neat, the restaurant is kid-friendly, and the pool was super. I would stay there with my son again in a heartbeat.
