Not worth it

Posted 5-Jul-2015
Only good thing about this hotel is the location. Expensive, not clean and service was ok

overrated and overpriced

Posted 4-Jul-2015
The extra blanket in the room stank of urine. Bathroom cleanliness was below acceptable standards, mould on the shower curtain. Staff could not properly coordinate with the parking attendant to ensure that the parking voucher when scanned allowed me to leave the lot. Otherwise, good location close to eateries. Will not stay here again.

Convenient location, mediocre quality

Posted 3-Jul-2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Customer service
Location: St Catherine Street The Gay Village Old town
Positives: Convenient location, close to interchange subway locations, can walk down St Catherine Street to downtown easily Close to the Gay Village with decent restaurants and cafes Has an indoor swimming pool Always has a queue of taxi waiting Negatives: Overall decor is a bit rundown The block where the hotel is, you always see homeless / weird types of people around -- the park infront of the hotel apparently used to be where drug addicts go Gym is outdated Customer service quality of staffs is not up to international standard -- they appear rude Low quality breakfast

Great location hotel, close to many restaurants!

Posted 2-Jul-2015
Pros: I loved the central location.
Cons: The curtains in the room did not block sunlight so it woke us up a bit too early. A small fridge could probably make the stay better.
Location: Went to Montreal for a soccer game at the Olympic Stadium, but definitely enjoyed the restaurants and walking to the Latin Quarter around the hotel.
My daughter and I were looking for a place to do some shopping and enjoy some fine dining and this hotel is in a great location for both! Equally important to us was that it needed to be close to the Metro - again, this was great because we didn't have to walk far to find the station.

Great location and staff

Posted 2-Jul-2015
Pros: Location, helpful staff, price, cleanliness
Cons: Hotel is older---some maintenance needed.
Location: Metro at door, convenient food mall in same building. good restaurants in neighbourhood, handy to Old montreal
The staff are very attentive. It's very convenient to be able to buy a wide variety quality food without leaving the building (in attached mall). I could get anywhere I wanted by public transit easily.

Ok hotel

Posted 2-Jul-2015
The hotel is okay, not very impressive for the price I paid. Did not like the bathroom conditions. The towles were not that white, it looks like old towles. And the bathroom was ver small. The arm chair in the room was with stains. Nit a nice feeling to sit on. The location was cery good, you have access to almost everything by just walking. We left the car in the hotel parking lot and walked around to the jazz festival and old Montreal area: max 20 minutes walk each directuon. I liked the location. The staff were very nice and friendly.

Very central and near metro

The business class rooms are great quality and would recommend. But the superior and classic rooms have stained carpet and show wear.

Great location to the Metro and Old Montreal

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Updating of the bathroom
Location: Old Montreal, waterfront, metro and restaurants
Went to see a World Cup game - so close to everything - Metro was just below hotel so made it easy to get to the Olympic Stadium - especially with kids in tow!

Location: Near Downtown and Old City.
Great Experience. Located near all of the sites. Hotel staff was kind and the room was clean.
