I enjoyed my stay.

Posted 18-Feb-2015
Pros: It is centrally located and close to public transportation.
Cons: Perhaps the front desk could be controlling the cleaning staff so they are not going door to door asking when they could clean the room or have signs.
Location: The Place des Arts, Bell Centre, Montreal Casino and museums are all nearby and accessible by the Metro at reasonable cost.
I was late arriving and no one made any comment about it. The room was ready when I arrived. I was able to get to the room without unnecessary delay.

Disappointing in a great city

Posted 17-Feb-2015
Pros: Proximity to downtown activities
Location: Metro is close, and hotel is in walking distance of everything
Room was next to elevators and unfortunately woke me up several times during the night.one of the managers was extremely rude and informed the staff next to him at the desk that each room was only alloted 2 of the regular coffee. I had requested extra. I declined buying them for.75 cents each. Not a huge deal but when you advertise coffee and tea in the room and only allow one per person, it's a small way to keep people happy, and I deserved some respectful manner in addressing this. Pool was a disappointment as it was shallow at both ends and not great for adult swimming.

A high end, quality place to stay in Montreal.

Posted 17-Feb-2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, good amenities and a great price.
Location: Centrally located to a variety of activities. Walk to several ethnic neighborhoods for the fine cusine or to see a Habs game.
The room was clean and comfortable with free wifi. Breakfast buffet was absolutely tremendous. Something for even the most finicky eater with a large selection of offerings. Pool was a big plus and the fitness room was better than in most hotels.

Nice Hotel. Centrally located.

Posted 2-Feb-2015
Pros: Location. Easy parking.
Cons: Desk staff. Bar hours.
Location: Bars, shopping, restaurants.
Slow check in. 9PM and only 1 desk clerk. Bar closes way to early. Bath Towels need to be replaced. Mine you could almost see through. Room located on the 27th floor. Quiet, swipe in card access. Breakfast was pretty good. Lots to choose from.

Excellent value.

Parking is safe and secure which is at a premium in Montreal. Check-in was slow but the front desk staff is very thorough and courteous which is appreciated after long travel. Basic rooms are comfortable with quality mattresses, clean and quiet. An excellent value for downtown montreal and a consistent quality stay.

Outstanding location for our needs

Posted 6-Jan-2015
Pros: Location, reliable Internet connectivity, location, friendly staff, location, access to major subway lines, location
Cons: An 24-hour open path out of Berri-UQAM station to hotel via mall. Freshen up rooms.
Location: Neighborhood (along Ste. Catherine at Rue St. Hubert) can be very gritty especially in evenings. Keep your children close.
Visited Montréal Dec 19-25; from airport to hotel on 747 bus ~30min with stop (near) hotel. Hotel staff is super polite and helpful. Hotel would be well served with a fresh coat of paint. Concierge has strange hours. Room was spacious but dated. Housekeeping a little inconsistent. For our purposes the location overcame all room shortcomings--we needed access to the Grande Bibliotheque & Archives and UQAM, both of which were less than 5 minute walk from the hotel (indoors). TIP: Make note of Jean Coutu business hours as they offer *significantly* better value than the adjacent Pharmaprix. Take a pass on nearby restaurants for better options along Rue Saint-Denis/Rue Saint-Urbain/Boul. St-Laurent.
