“I return here every year.”
My friends and I stay at this hotel every year in July when we come to Montreal. The hotel is very clean overall and just had the rooms renovated. The flat screen TV is great and the Hotel also offers FREE wireless internet. Another addition this year is the free breakfast every morning and it is more than a pastry and coffee. I will continue to stay here whenever I visit Montreal.
“Great location”
15 minute walk to the quaint "Old Montreal" and in the heart of Montreal city with tons of things to do there. They forgot to put cups and coffee in our room, but we called and they brought up plenty. No extras like pads of paper and pens or fancy bath stuff, but a comfortable room anyway.
“tres bon rapport qualite-prix”
l hotel est situe juste a cote de la station de bus, donc tres pratique pour un voyage en car avec sac a dos!! La chambre est tres confortable pour son prix abordable en centre-ville!
“Fantastic value for money”
Arrived earlier than check in time - they were happy to store our luggae until room was ready. Very helpful and polite staff. Large sized room. Clean and comfortable hotel. Everything you need. Breakfast is continental. Great all round hotel. Close to metro and close to latin quarter.
“Nice hotel right in the middle of the City at a good price”
The hotel was nice the people were friendly and helpful. The beds are firm so if you like a firm mattress you are all set. If you prefer are soft bed this may not be a good place to stay.
“Comfort Hotel=Perfect Spot”
Located in the Latin Quarter, this hotel met all of our requirements. The check in/check out process was easy and quick, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was neat and clean, the hotel had free parking. The only drawback was that the continental breakfast was a little disappointing. The breakfast is the same for everyone; there is no choice to be had, you are simply brought a plate with a muffin, a hard-boiled egg, an Eggo-type waffle and a pice of toast. However, the breakfast was free and the hotel was relatively inexpensive considering the location and the cleanliness of the room.
“Nice Hotel”
Location good Near to the village Gay area Near to bus station bad breakfast
“Nice City Old Montreal !”
This hotel is much more then the price you pay for. Thats why I just cant complain about it. Friendly staff who all speak English, now thats class Montréal! Will return and recommend.
“Changed name!!!”
This hotel is no longer the Taj Mahal, it is under new management and called the Comfort Inn as we eventually learned. We checked in around 3:30pm and already all of the parking spaces were full so we were forced to park in a public lot that we had to pay for. Other than those two setbacks, the hotel was clean and the location is two blocks away from Saint Catherine St, the eastern part.
“Good hotel near downtown”
Good inexpensive hotel located close to the village, downtown, and latin quater. Parking space is limited to about 20 cars for 140 rooms, so try to get earlier to get a spot. Rooms are clean and service is friendly. Breakfast is a joke, probably worse $1 and they tell you NO if you want both cofee and juice but you have a lot of choices around. Overall is very good expirience.
