Nice hotel

Nice and comfortable hotel. Room is really clean. It will be much better if people are not walking in and out of their room 3 in the morning.

Nice hotel in the heart of the action & only a block & 1/2 from subway. Parking is $25 a night though. Plus tax!

Great, central location

Posted 30-Nov-2014
Pros: The location, the great cafe right off the hotel lobby, the friendly staff, and practically on the doorstep of McGill University for our tour!
Cons: Earlier check-in
Coming from NY, it was very easy to drive right to the hotel. Our car was quickly whisked away, the front desk was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The layout of the bathroom was very well-designed; the way the space was configured made it much easier for 4 of us to use the bathroom.

Nice hotel downtown with excellent staff

Posted 29-Nov-2014
Pros: Staff helpfulness, nice rooms
Location: Lots of shopping areas, restaurants, and the universities are 5 minutes walking distance (McGill and Concordia).
Everything about the hotel was super satisfactory: the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, our double queen room was super large and clean and comfy. The location was superb with ready access to shopping and restaurants, without having too much noise from the street (we were on the street, and could hear the noise, but it wasn't a problem at all, and we were only on the 7th floor). The staff helped us with restaurant selection and reservation, and was extremely friendly and smiling.

Good Hotel for the price

Posted 13-Nov-2014
Pros: - Price better than nearby hotels - Clean as you should expect in a typical hotel. - Location is excellent. Near McGill & Concordia. Crescent and St. Catherines Street. - Refrigerator in Rooms Cons: - Valet Parking is Expensive $25/night + Tax, sometimes can park on street nearby but difficult during the week. - No Pool/Hot tub/Spa Stayed in a single queen room. Good for the business traveler or couples/individual who will not be spending the majority of their stay in their room but want a clean, comfortable and inexpensive place to sleep and watch some tv.

Convenient location

Posted 13-Nov-2014
I chose this hotel for its convenient location. It is downtown, close to McGill campus, and close to the train station. Hotel is under renovation at its main entrance, so taxi couldn't drop me off at the hotel itself. Clean, nice room. Nice view overlooking the mountain at the back of McGill.

Less than I expected

Posted 11-Nov-2014
Many hidden fees and less hotel facilities than expected.
