Close to McGill University; great pricePosted 21-Jul-2014
Pleased to find a reasonably priced hotel so close to the University, where a friend was being married. After being used to paying New York hotel prices, it was great to find such a pleasant hotel, so conveniently located, in such a cosmopolitan city, at such a low cost per night. The staff was exceptionally helpful.

Pros: Location, decent looking room, staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: Better functioning room.
Location: Everything was blocks away. The metro/subway was handy, festivals were just far enough away to go to but not intrusive to the hotel.
Staff was nice, location was awesome and easy to get to, room was typical. The TV remote stopped working, the waterspout in the bathtub flew off when we tried to turn the shower on, we laughed it off then advised the staff. We had a great time in Montréal.

Ok hotel but not set up for families.Posted 18-Jul-2014
The room was fine but the fact that we could not access our vehicle without the valet going for us was frustrating as kids always forget stuff. Not what we expected.

Great area!Posted 18-Jul-2014
The room view was a condo building but great access to Mont Royale St. catherine street. Also walkable to the metro and train station. I'd reccommend it if you are coming for a few days as it is quiet and the bell staff were very helpful.

Nice downtown locationPosted 17-Jul-2014
Check in was easy, room was clean and nice. Bed was nice and comfy, ac worked well. We has 3 seperate issues with the valet, called down and the front desk took my card number but never told the valet so we waited extra long, almost being late for our dinner reso. All in all, it was good. Would prefer to stay at a place with a pool next time.

First visit to MontrealPosted 17-Jul-2014
Location: We attended a concert at the Bell Center and found the hotel location perfect.
From the moment we arrived until the morning we left, it was a lovely experience. My sisters and I have travelled to many countries and have had a few rather disappointing hotel experiences. This hotel was wonderful! The staff was courteous even when swamped with guests arriving on tour buses. We never had to wait...this, in itself, is rare. The elevators were prompt, the car valet was helpful when we asked directions, the coffee shop was charming. Our room was clean and large and had all the amenities we needed. We plan on bringing our families back very soon.

Great location but the hotel needs updatingPosted 16-Jul-2014
Cons: Updating it
After the first night, we woke up with back pain. We called front desk and were offered two options: 1) move to a different room but beds were of similar vintage or 2) replace the mattress, which they had only one new. We decided for options 2) and that was a big help. The hotel has a great location, Peel St. and close to metro station but owners should update to bring it to a trully four stars hotel. We stayed in other four star hotels during our visit to Canada and they were better.
