“Montreal charm hotel”
Excellent location just in front of a metro station. Helpful staff. Good size and confortable room. I recommend.

“Quaint little inn conveniently located”
We did not spend an enormous amount of time at the hotel because we were out sightseeing. The front desk staff were very welcoming. We arrived very early in the day and our room was not ready. The staff were quick to store our luggage securely and provide us with a quick tour of the facilities. On our return, our check-in was very quick. The rooms were small but very comfortable and impeccably clean. There is a small break room where snacks are served from late afternoon to night. There is also a quiet reading corner with internet access. In the morning, the continental breakfast is brought to your door via a wicker picnic basket and there is a coffee maker in the room. I truly enjoyed staying and would without a doubt return on a future visit to Montreal.
“Super convenient location”
I feel like this place is the "making it easy to get around Montreal" jackpot. There's a cab stand across one street, the Berri UQAM metro across the other street (where THREE lines converge), and four Bixi stands within a block. It's absolutely perfect for a summer stay in Montreal, when you want to be out a lot. But I could see this also being a great winter hotel. We had an executive room, and it was really very large (king bed, seating area, work area, closet, bath) for what we were expecting to be a more European style room. We asked through our Expedia reservation for a room with a jacuzzi and received one, and also were greeted with a bottle of cidre glace and a nice note congratulating us on our anniversary. The hotel brings a basket with some breakfast items to your room each morning, which is great - it's just enough food (a few pastries, some yogurt, some fruit) to fuel you up to get to Marche Jean Talon or one of Montreal's other awesome food spots. So really, we liked the hotel itself as well as the location. There are lots of other gites and auberges in this area that look more oriented toward students or backpackers (at least from the outside) but Pomerol was very pleasing, and had the accommodations we'd expect of boutique property. Note about parking: it's at a lot owned by another firm, and it's outdoors, but it's attended.
“Breakfast in Bed”
Room was pretty small but bathroom was cute and nicely designed. The Metro was across the street, which was very convenient. It was a little more expensive than some of the other deals we found be it was probably worth it because of the location... Old Montreal was about a half-hour walk away. Breakfast was served to your room in a basket, and it was very nice to have a vacation with breakfast in bed!
“Gracious in Montreal”
The staff was very polite, attentive, and gracious. The morning breakfast basket was lovely; evening snacks were also provided. The front desk person offered to wrap the breakfast to go because I left early in the morning. The location was great - right across the street from the main metro station. Parking was conveniently located behind the hotel. My only complaint was that my room was very small. I was traveling by myself so this was not a problem. All considered, I would stay again.
