Nice cheap stay!
Good hotel for the price you pay. The walls are a bit thin so beware of you have noisy neighbors next door. Overall loved it with my mum, it's reasonably priced and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, near the town centre and not too far away from the beaches. Would recommend! I personally think it's great because when I'm on a trip I spend most of my time outdoors and will only go back to my hotel room to shower and sleep so it's exactly what we needed, no need to be fancy.
2 twin beds with bedside tables, storage for your clothes, a desk, multiple power outlets and a small bathroom. The room also has Air conditioning.

Some rooms had nice views over the water. The parking has to be booked by telephone call. I didn't see that in the advert. but as it was a Sunday night there was free parking on the quayside until 9 a.m. Monday. There were no nearby restaurants so it meant a car journey for the evening meal as one of the party had mobility difficulties. Receptio staff all friendly.

I would recommend it to anyone. It was reasonably priced basic but clean with excellent staff. And note parking is nine euros however you can park across the street for €2.5 which I wouldn’t of known of if they hadn’t told me As I speak very little French and didn’t know the area. A definite recommendation. Got a beautiful view over the canal.

I loved having a view of the water outside and particularly seeing the sun rise in the morning, Even with a considerable amount of traffic outside , it was a fairly peaceful scene and an easy walk to the station , where I\ was going to catch a train to Montpellier quite early.

Handy to the railway station.
Close enough to the railway station to walk with your bags. Easy check in and they have a lift. Rooms basic but adequate and comfortable bed. Breakfast downstairs was worth the money- pastries, yoghurt, fruit, cold boiled eggs, cheese and ham.

Very accommodating staff! Perfect location!!
We are a couple travelling in southern France for a month. We wanted to spend a night in Sete on our to Arles. This is a beautiful spot to visit. Unfortunately we had a medical incident while in town and needed to spend a second night: the hotel was very accommodating with our situation. We would definitely return and stay at this hotel!

V pleasant, quiet hotel in easy reach of station.
Second year of staying in the same Hotel. Perfectly placed for good transport links. We went to Pézenas for the market on Saturday and also Carcassonne. We enjoyed all the restaurants. There is a lovely sandy beach between Sète and Agde which we took advantage of.

Simple, delightful waterside hotel
A nice simple canalside hotel with great views, a brilliant breakfast room and buffet breakfast, and reasonable prices. Close to the station and one small fishermen area. Particularly nice young woman reception staffer. Small TV but I found it OK.

Not as good as it seems....
Booked this location using my phone app & perhaps should have spent a bit more time reading everything about the place. We got a room overlooking the water - the first one smelled badly of cigarettes, so we moved to another down the hall. It was a warm evening, so we had the window open. It was a Saturday night with a lot of traffic & pedestrian noise from the road outside, plus noise from occasional passing boats & long, long, long trains passing. The window open made for many mosquitoes in the room. We decided to close window after 15 bites & switch on air conditioning. The AC wouldn't go cool, just mildly warmish. I asked the next morning & they said the temperature range was restricted by a program at the front desk. It was a night that we really needed a full night's sleep. My wife & I concluded it was the worst night we had ever had sharing a hotel room... Front desk staff (3 different ambers one the time I was there) was helpful & friendly, but unwilling to take much responsibility when I brought up the issues at check out

Pleasant and convenient
Stayed for two nights while exploring Sete. WE dragged our bags across a wooden bridge from the train station, as we could see the hotel from the front of the station. Once there, ;;we were welcomed and shown to our romm, which was fine, and our friend was there to meet us, conveniently on the same floor.

I came in early spring and there are not many tourist so it was quiet, but at high season i recommend this place because it may get noisy at night by the center of the canals. And a big plus they have parking inside.

Hôtel 🏨 bien situé, calme, fonctionnel. Ouvert toute la nuit (veilleur). Chambres petite mais bien pensées et propres. Well located, quiet, does the job. Opened all night long (night watchman). Small rooms but well designed and rather clean.

It was generally good. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. He gave us a harbour view room, the view was nice. Room size is good, free parking along the quai was easy to find especially if one goes a bit further or across the bridge to the other side of the quai. Plenty of seafood restaurants about 300m from the hotel along the quai.

We stopped in Sette for the night on our way to Barcelona at the hotel Azur. The rooms are very small but clean, the Internet was free and the bathroom neat and clean. The hotel is as close to the river as you can get. Free breakfast, friendly staff and parking. A great value for the money

We chose this because we wanted to use it as a base to visit Montpellier, this worked they have secure parking and 5 minutes to the Station

Buget Hotel
I chose Hotel Azur because of it's location to the train station and the centre of Sete. It's situated by the canals and boats and does have a lovely view from the front of the waterways of Sete. I had enquired ahead for a suitable room for my disabilities with easy access. I was disapoited to find I had been given a room up on the 4th floor. Ok, it was near the lift, but! It also faced out towards the back, if you looked up you could see Mont Claire, across appartments and below, the car park. Which was quite noisy in the evenings. Room size & bed size adequate but not that clean. Stains on the carpet. The mirror on the bathroom door looked like it was covered in mascara. The shower tray & curtain dirty with mould in places, as were the tiles. The shower head very precarious & fell off when trying to ajust it's height. The shower trap was filthy with hairs and encrusted limescale. The bed only had 2 small square pillows- not enough for someone with a disabilty for comfort. The carpet on the corridor was also badly stained in places. I also like to stay in a hotel where one is trusted with ones own room key and not have to hand it back in every time one went out. Breafast looked quite basic. The coffee was dispensed from an urn, tasted like instant and very stewed, very shoddy for a French hotel. The staff, mostly, were very pleasant and helpful. This hotel is buget at 2 stars, but cleanliness is paramount whether no stars or 5. Shame. Lovely location but could do better.

Great for tha port & marinas
A port hotel, well located for looking at boats, not to far to walk to town centre. Very clean - linen and towels changed every day. Helpful front of house staff. Secure parking albeit a little cramped. Exactly the break we wanted.

Decent Place to Stay
I picked the Hotel Azur for one night stay in Sete, France because of low price, location to train station (I was traveling by train), and reviews I read. The hotel is a decent 2 star with clean rooms and good free Wi-Fi Internet (important to me). There is no air conditioning, but they do provide an electric fan. Fortunately, I managed without. Location is a little walk from train station, but still one of the closest hotels. Sete is not that large, so easy walk to where seafood restaurants are all located.

Pretty basic, but all we needed.
Situated very close to the train station in a beautiful town. We used it during Worldwide Festival 2011, not ideal for location compared to some of the venues however. Room was very basic, and there were no towels provided until asked for, but the hotel does the job for the price asked. Staff were very friendly, and happy to speak English to us.

Bon hôtel, chambre propre et spacieuse, lit très confortable en 160cm et les sanitaires sont très propres. La chambre donne sur le quai avec vue sur le canal. Nuit silencieuse et un peu de bruit le matin au réveil du port. Je recommande.
