Hotel has been recently renovated. Our room was very clean and the bathroom looked as though it had been entirely redone. A very good location for our weekend needs in Monticello and neighboring areas. I'll recommend the Super 8 to friends and family!

The hotel was good overall. They have nice and clean rooms, a good sized pool, and they served a really nice breakfast.

“great but SIGN is needed”

hotel staff was GREAT!! helpful with directions, food choices & hotel service. the only bad thing was we couldnt find the hotel! they are in major need of a sign, actually 2 one near road and on on the building facing cedar otherwise the aren't easy to locate.

When we first arrived we noticed that we did not have any shampoo, soaps, etc in our room. However, the room was very beautiful and had brand new appliances. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I had expected. On the door of the pool there was a note that said adult swim only 10-11pm so my guest and I waited until ten to go to the pool. When we got there about 5-10 people were swimming in the pool. All but 3 of those people were clearly not adults and were taking up the entire pool throwing balls. I kindly asked the front desk to enforce the 10-11 rule as noted on the door and he would not. So we jumped in anyway for about 15 minutes but the group did not give us ample room to enjoy ourselves so we went back up to our room. Later we found that there was no lock on the pool door so someone easily could have gone into the pool at 3am for a swim and drown. Our friends down the hall first had a room that smelled like pee (which I can vouche for because I smelled it to) and they had to be put in a different room farther away from our party. Overall, I'd give this stay a 4 out of ten.

“Wouldn't recommend”

The room was clean. The front desk clerk was very friendly and gracious. The pool was very large but seemed to have a greasy film on it. The pillows were very hard and the biggest issue was that the room felt very damp. The sheets actually felt wet all night. We tried air conditioning but that didn't help and was very noisy.
