“So comfortable...”
At first time we didn't expect any service... But it was so warm and cozy. The room is larger than we expected.. and it has a fireplace.. so attractive... I realy like this hotel..
“Great Place to Stay”
Highly reccomend hotel room with spa:very romantic. watched super bowl with spouse from hottub with fire place going! great place for excelent price! Great gift for anneversary and birthday! Anyway it was for mine!
“A nice little place”
The staff were VERY friendly. They upgraded me to a jacuzi and fireplace room without me even asking. An employee insisted on carrying my suitcase up a flight of stairs (there may have been an elevator - I didn't look). While not "upscale", it is perfectly nice. It took me about 25 minutes to walk to Fisherman's Wharf - but I'm a slow walker. Excellent places to dine.

It was a great stay and the staff was super nice. We will go back.
“A bargin in Monterey”
The Vagabond Inn is under new ownership. The deck staff were very helpful. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was confortable. Best of all the price was right. I will stay here again. This was a bargin for Monterey.
“Nice place to stay”
Second time I stayed here. The only complaint I have is that the wireless internet didn't work. I was told it would be down for a day or two, but it was down for all 5 days I stayed. Other than that, it's a great place - very comfortable, great location in a nice neighborhood.

“Munras Lodge”
Nice Place. It appears to have a remodel recently.Fireplaces in the roms were a nice touch in this price range. Getting a late checkout (2 hours)was more of a negotiation that I expected for a Sunday. Walking distance to downtown but it is a long walk.
“Satisfying stay”
The service was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. It is located on "hotel row" in Monterey, so not walking distance from anything but an easy drive.
“Good for the money”
The room was comfortable and clean. Location was easy to find and close to local attractions. The staff was very friendly, the maid even came out to give me my son's pillow he forgot. The fireplace was nice on the cool evening. The room had a small fridge that was nice and cold.The parking spots are the only downfall. They are a little too tight. If you are only using this as a stopover place it is great.
