The room was bigger than expected and clean. Good room for the price.

The place looked recently renovated (new carpets, lobby). I had a great stay. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was great, too. I plan to stay here again.

My daughter and I decided to take a little adventure along with 3 of her friends at the last moment of our vacation. We went to Monterey to whale watch. I went to my Expedia.com to check out motels at reasonable rates in the area. I checked out many and decided on the Monterey Bay Travelodge. We have traveled many times before and have always depended on online references. We have always been blessed with what we are looking for. Once again this is was a great experience. The motel was very clean and with employees and staff who care about your needs. The HOUSEKEEPING staff was incredible to what we needed since myself and the girls decided to trade rooms the second day we were there. Only because the room I was in was larger than the one they were in. And if you have any extra needs for your room during the evening the front desk has almost everything you need. Our adventure was to sight see a lot of the Monterey Bay area. But when we returned the rooms were very comfortable and cozy. The wharf and cannery row are very close by. And many beaches to explore. I can only say that when I searched for a motel...I saw a lot of them on the same road we stayed on. And my thought was WOW..they wanted how much per night compared to what we paid. I would recommend this motel for a very comfortable place to stay.
