“Easy, clean and comfortable.”

My daughter and I decided to take a little adventure along with 3 of her friends at the last moment of our vacation. We went to Monterey to whale watch. I went to my Expedia.com to check out motels at reasonable rates in the area. I checked out many and decided on the Monterey Bay Travelodge. We have traveled many times before and have always depended on online references. We have always been blessed with what we are looking for. Once again this is was a great experience. The motel was very clean and with employees and staff who care about your needs. The HOUSEKEEPING staff was incredible to what we needed since myself and the girls decided to trade rooms the second day we were there. Only because the room I was in was larger than the one they were in. And if you have any extra needs for your room during the evening the front desk has almost everything you need. Our adventure was to sight see a lot of the Monterey Bay area. But when we returned the rooms were very comfortable and cozy. The wharf and cannery row are very close by. And many beaches to explore. I can only say that when I searched for a motel...I saw a lot of them on the same road we stayed on. And my thought was WOW..they wanted how much per night compared to what we paid. I would recommend this motel for a very comfortable place to stay.

“Home away from home”

Everyone that works here is awesome. They went out of their way to help me from the second I got there til the second I left. The hotel itself was very classic and looked like it was newly renovated. The rooms were very nice, spacey, and the bedding was VERY comfortable! I slept like a baby! The breakfast in the morning had a wide variety. I paid very little for a great stay. Thanks Travel Lodge! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a well priced, lovely hotel.

I did a road trip and stay in many hotels and this one is one of the best and average in price. Comfortable and just less than 10 minutes by car of the downtown

“wonderful hotel”

The hotel has so great condition on its price. The staffs of front desk was so helpful and friendly. We definitily will come back and recommend this hotel to friends. The only thing,if they have curtain gauze then I have nothing to complain.

“Gets the job done”

I had to stay overnite on a Valentines weekend. It was affordable and had free parking. Not really walking distance to anything, but was convienent. If you have to stay somewere cheap and clean its recommended. They also have free breakfast and internet which is great.

“Very worthwhile for its price”

Don't expect much from this hotel as it's supposed to be low cost hotel. However, the quality of the service and room is really great when viewing from the price lens. And for those who are serious about breakfast, this is the place for you. Great and serious breakfast they are serving. Other than that, it's pretty close to the Monterey aquarium.

“Monterey's Great!”

I took my mom along w/ my friend to Monterey for my mom's birthday. This was the first time either my friend or myself had ever been there. Monterey was great. The Monterey Bay Travelodge was nice. I noticed that every room had a sliding glass door, some w/ balconies. Mine just happened to face the pool. The room was very clean and the service was good. The attendant at the front counter was very nice and helpful when I needed directions to dinner. I know that the motel is fairly close to the airport but it was never a problem as maybe one plane flew over. I would definantly stay @ the Travleodge again and probably will in the very near future.
