“Cozy getaway blocks away from downtown”
THis place is 1/2 block from downtown Monterey, yet the courtyard where one can relax, the comfortable large rooms, and the relaxed setting makes this a great location to consider for your next stay in town. We'll be back
“charming stay in Monterey”
I loved the decor in my room and the 4 poster bed. This hotel is small and charming, with a nice breakfast. Parking, with an extra fee, is tight. I'd stay here again.

Love the look and Victorian feel of the rooms. Very friendly staff. OK breakfast buffet. Should have free parking with room however.
“Weekend to remember!”
My now fiancee and i stayed at this hotel for our four year anniversary and we loved it. the location was great , an easy walk to the wharf and cannery row. The room was lovely, very clean but the bathroom could use a little updating. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family

“Just what we were looking for!”
My husband and I loved how unique this little hotel/inn was. The fireplace in the room was a very nice touch to our romantic getaway. It was also nice to see that not everything in the room was bolted down...it felt like we were staying in someone's guest room and not a hotel. Would recommend this place to everyone...we will stay here again!
“Great location in town and front desk service”
The guy at the front desk will go out of his way to make your stay great! This is a great place to crash on your way through town.
“Nice hotel in a great location - some minor flaws”
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel location can't be beat. Minor repairs to the bathroom were needed and breakfast was pretty average. Overall, a good hotel for the money.
“Beautiful Historic Inn”
It was not what I expected but it was a very cool experience. My future wife and I never stayed at a place like this before but at least we both will never forget it bc that's what life is about:) If you like antiques and history, this is the place for you.
“One night stay.”
Rooms were clean and neat. Loved the garden setting. Staff was helpful with local recommendations, especially for restaurants. Only drawback was the street noise at night, but was not extreme. We would return.
