“A decent place to stay in Monterey, CA...”

The Comfort Inn Monterey is a decent little place to stay. It is clean, the rooms are fairly big. Now, be warned...this is not a new hotel. That said, it is a very good value for those that don't plan on spending all of their time in their hotel room.

Clean, friendly and comfortable. If I am on a budget, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We were visiting Monterey for the beer festival and it was very conveinantly located in front of the fairgrounds. The service was good and the rooms were very well kept. There is an airport close by so it can be alittle noisy every once and awhile. The bathroom was good but it could have used more towels. All and all we had a very nice stay.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Well maintained with flowers everywhere.

“Good for a quick trip”

We just needed a one night place to stay that was convenient to the aquarium. This hotel was fine for that. It is close to the airport so there is some noise associated with that but the airport is not a busy one.

the extensive breakfast selection was a plus. the rooms were comfortable and clean. it was nice to see moen fixtures and granite countertops in the bathroom. the extra vanity in the bathroom was great for storing our toiletries. it would have been nice to have a couple of towel bars to hang our towels on.

Large room, large bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, and tv. Can't complain. I was pretty happy with the overall experience.

“Very good motel”

My wife and I have some mobility issues, the motel is on a hill and that was a challenge, especally as we had a room at the top mof the hill and there were 9 rooms up there but only 4 parking spaces in front of this building. We had to park down the hill and walk up. I am a large person and the size and placement of the toilet in the bathroom was quite uncomfortable, and the staff was unable to get more comfortable bathroom layout for us.

walls were a little thin, and labor day show was held near by. room was clean and nothing was broken. very close to highway, easy to locate.

If you are looking for a quick getaway this is a great place to stay especially if you are there for the surrounding beauty!
