“Great views!”
I think this place had a view better than the dream inn and much cheaper. Staff were super friendly. Great location!

The Beach Street Inn & Suites is being totally renovated and we were lucky enough to get one of the finished products. Very, very nice. Nicely done with decorating, large tile shower, close to the pier in Santa Cruz. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is a great location. The room was clean and well done. We are planing a return trip soon.

Excellent stay in Santa Cruz. Perfect location for walking down to the beach and on the boardwalk in 5 minutes. Nice upper hill location for view of the ocean and great pool and bbq area. Quaint but loved the location.
“I HATED TO LEAVE!!!!”
Great retro/meets 21st century vibe. I LOVED this property. Room was immaculate. Beds pillow top, felt like a cloud. Bathroom was stunning. Loved the sea cottage decor. Loved the view of the pier and beach. Striped duvets with quirky "Beach" pillows with dried hula grass on the edges. A hardware pail for ice. Countertops on kitchenette were either granite or polished concrete. Flat screen TV, free internet access. I TRULY HATED TO LEAVE. Kids, families. It took you back to the 50s, but was totally up to date. Just kept walking around and smiling. They really pulled it off. What a great makeover for a charming little seaside motel. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!
“Staying here, a must!”
My son lives in Santa Cruz a very short walk from the Inn which was wonderful. This place is so charming and the pictures are exactly what it looks like. The rooms are totally beach inspired and beautiful. The bathroom was fantastic. Two shower heads on opposite sides, wonderful. I was surprised by how quiet it was at night considering the location. Sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffe watching the sun come up and the smell and sound of the ocean which is literally steps away, it couldn't have gotten any better unless I could have stayed longer!
“I'd Book It Again”
Although I was in Santa Cruz on business, I couldn't wait to get back to my room to relax and enjoy the view. Hotel is undergoing renovations with a lot of construction work being done. Staff was courteous to put me in a room away from the hustle and bustle of the work. The room was very nice, looking out over the beach. Nice balcony to relax on. Street noise (from people not vehicles) late at night was a bit much, but a small price to pay for the view and location.
“Full Disclosure”
Wasn't informed that the 1/2 of the hotel was under construction, though fortunately no work occurred while we were there. Pool was closed as part of the construction. Hotel is across the street from the boardwalk area, which is both convenient and could be a noise problem during the summer.
