The view is 5 Star. If you are looking for a quiet place away from noise and city. Like fishing and relaxing this is the place. If you are expecting room comforts and top amenities then this is not. We felt we did not get the value for the money paid.

I called day before that I am arriving. I arrived, but no towels and even soap even in a room Nice place to swim in this area Hotel staff have no reception area or person why is really doing this job. been checked out day before I booked checked out charged full prize end up paying for taxi to get to Dubrovnick airport and of course came day early All that, was enough to make me sick Hotel deny their fold and even do not want return money for day and night I was not where I booked my stay ,I thought I am looked after through Hotel.com I hope they would be some help to even just getting money back.. wishful thinking! I would think many times before booking in Villa Kristina , if you do not want end up this way they even do not remember days and do not have propertly done paperwork its just ruin all my first stay in Montenegro

dear, What to say on this comment and to stay calm. Dear Irina regarding your check out you come on the reception and say that you leave really regarding privace of each guests we donšt ask our guests why they want to leave day before because you was very satisfied with service and accomodation in Villa, because before you leave you great with all staff and leave them tips for great service. You mistake date and you come to Dubrovnik airport day before dear Irina is not our fault because you come to Dubrovnik airport day before you should look date of your airplane and day of check out. And of course you pay txi to dubrovnik I don't know any taxi which will make for the free transfer to Dubrovnik ( 90 km) and you are organise transfer for this day and not Hotel. I don't know why you blame Hotel because you leave Hotel one day before and is your mistake regarding date of your check out - dear Irina is really unfair that you wrotte such thinks . Where is our fault becase you check out day before and you don't know when you book your air ticket. Dear irina if you drink less during all day probalby you will know details regarding your flights and date of air ticket so please don't balme other in such way for your mistakes.wish you pleasant day.

Nice waterfront villa
The villa was right at the waterfront and the view was very pretty. Wish that the weather was nicer for our stay. Because it was not in high season, it was very quiet and the restaurant was not open. Had a small kitchen like facility but there was nothing to cook with or no plates etc.

I enjoyed my stay!
I think in reviews have been said a lot and will support all positive reviews. Being in few hotels around Tivat my experience of this hotel is highly positive. Its on the beach, in quiet secluded area, 19 min walk from local shop and 15-20 min drive from Tivat on taxi (10-15 € one way) where you can spend walking through clean and Rivera style marina with many fountains. But please ask for taxi with air con as there are many taxi cars are old and no air con included unfortunately and even 15 min journey in sweltering weather appears to be rather uncomfortable. But mainly positive is related to accommodation, quietness of the area and very pleasant staff unlike in few hotels in Tivat I stayed. Seems a big set back for Montenegro (conversing with honest locals) is a lack of appreciation of good service on business dictated probably by Visa free travel to Montenegro from huge country like Russia - no need to compete for locals. Therefore I was pleasantly suprised with service at this hotel.

Lovely apartment hotel along the bay.
Villa Kristina is in an extraordinarily beautiful location with waterfront on the bay and a view of the mountains. But it isn't as isolated as I would have guessed from the website and previous reviews. The apart-hotel shares a concrete dock and parking lot with three other apart-hotel and is a draw for locals to go swimming during the day. The room was comfortable and we slept well. Checkin was a bit chaotic since the owner speaks little english but it all worked out.

Amazing views, helpful friendly staff
Villa Kristina is set in the most beautiful location, stunning views all around the bay and right on the coast. The water is clear and refreshing and a lovely area to swim in after a hot day exploring. The villa is a 10-15 minute drive from both Tivat and Kotor, they will arrange a driver to take you to either for €10, and we found that any of the official metered taxis also cost the same amount for the journey back. All the staff were very helpful in helping us to organise our trips out. My only criticism would be regarding the breakfast-only 2 options, muesli with fruit and yoghurt or omelette. I think had we known that we would have just brought breakfast ourselves. We were also in one of the older rooms, with a 'quirky' array of light switches and temperamental air conditioning. But the views from the balcony were amazing and more than made up for it as did the welcome we received from the owners and their staff.

Magnificent views of Tivat and the mountains
Very warm welcome from staff, who where very friendly and extremely accomodating. Accomodation had spectacular views of Tivat across the bay. Private beach was well equiped. Restaurant had lovely food. Only downside is that some guests still smoked inside the restaurant even in good weather, the no smoking signage was ignored and wasn't inforced ( but this is common behaviour )

Villa Kristina - Tivat - Montenegro
Dear Travellers We stayed in several hotels during our trip to Serbia and Montenegro however Villa Kristina in Tivat was the only one that stood out. No faults with this place, everything was perfect, from location, rooms, facilities, staff... and so on. The proprietor and staff treated all her guests like family, knowing each guest by name. Very cosy and comfortable. Did I mention they have a private beach!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!! They went out of their way to assist and ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be going back every year, but for a much loinger period. Loved it!!!

Stunning Views of The Bay
Villa Kristina is definitely one of our favourite places to stay in Montenegro. It has one of the most stunning views of the Bay and it offers a very comfortable stay. You'll certainly feel looked after. Our Executive Deluxe bedroom seemed a bit small, but it was very cosy, clean and well-equipped. Besides, there was a shared patio (with 1 other apartment) where we had our breakfasts with a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. Our favourite part of the stay was access to the sea at the Villa. We swam and sunbathed right where we stayed. We explored some nearby beaches outside the bay, however, we enjoyed swimming at the villa more because it wasn't windy in the bay. The villa is well-protected from the wind by the mountains. While Villa Kristina is away from the main historical locations, if you have a rented car or a scooter, then it is not a problem at all. It's located within 15-17 mins from Tivat or Kotor historical town by car. The nearest grocery store is within 6 mins, a public beach - 10 mins, nearest restaurant - 5 mins by car. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Kristina and it will certainly be our choice when we go back to Montenegro next time.

Amazing out of the way resort.
The Villa Kristina was a beautiful, quiet, modern resort that was a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. It is located about 15 minutes from Tivat and Kotor. The resort was exceptionally clean, the staff incredibly accommodating, and the food was excellent. While I would recommend you get a rental car, cabs were accessible, and the owners went out of their way to get us in to town. The Villa Kristina is right on the water, and a perfect place to relax away from the crowds and noise of the center of town. I will stay there again!

Staying in Montenegro - off-season
Extremely pleasant stay. Clean and comfortable room, really carrying hosts and beautiful Kotor Bay just steps away. We spent 4 days there and could not wish more pleasant relaxing time than we had there. We wanted to be away from the city, on a beach, - and found this place just 10-15 min away from Kotor old city. Finding it was not a problem at all. Villa Kristina is rather small and comfortable hotel ran by a nice local family. Great cuisine!!! Reasonable pricing and comfortable clean rooms. Tourist attractions are not very far away from the place - Kotor - just minutes away; Budva - 25 min drive; Perast - 30 min drive. I wish we could stay longer!

A lovely welcome from the owners who tried really hard to look after us. A car is necessary off season to get around and to try other restaurants etc at night.

Viva Villa Kristina
We stayed for two nights at the beginning of our stay in Montenegro and Croatia. We were exceptionally pleased with the accommodations, meal service and overall quality. The location was a bit out of the way but well worth the drive. It was quiet and beautiful. We would HIGHLY recommend this Villa to anyone wishing to make a trip to Montenegro. EXCELLENT!!

Beautiful scenery and Vladan, the waiter was fantastic. However this is not a 4* hotel. Our room was tiny, the air-conditioning did not work properly and most of the food and drinks on the menu were not available. You will need a car if you stay here as it is far from anywhere and there are no other bars or restaurants nearby. Faulty Towers comes to mind!

A lovely, small hotel in a beautiful setting
Villa Kristina is in a beautiful setting, the staff are lovely and we had such a nice time there. The small gravel beach and private terrace is only a few steps from all of the rooms and it was so nice to be able to jump in the sea throughout the day. The place is very tranquil and the perfect retreat. The restaurant at the hotel is great but a bit pricey so it is advisable to also try some of the other local restaurants in the area in Tivat and Kotor - short taxi journey away. The hotel itself is great value for money and the location is amazing - our balcony overlooked the sea and mountains and we had the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Idyllic location.
Fabulous location next to the inland sea opposite Tivat. A great place to chill out. Friendly, helpful staff and a great chef in the kitchen. Good dinner menu.

A real gem in Montenegro
Situated in a lovely location on the edge of the fiord in a small hamlet of mainly old fishing cottages. Food and staff fantastic. Saw a heron and otter on the nearby bank to the fiord which is a bit of nature reserve. Really need a car to get to the hotel. The village of Rose at the end of the peninsula is very attractive and well worth visiting and the inland road is very attractive also. At the end of May it seemed that the season had not started and the boat trips across the fiord were not yet running. Access to Kotor and Tevat very easy by car. Only 4 letting bedrooms but the restaurant can probably seat 30 but very quiet in May 2012

Dear Guests, Is incedible that you wrotte such think this is room after your depart completly brooken and dirty we can not enter in your room because you don't allowed us to enter in the room to clean room and we don't have possibilities to clean room as we do in all other rooms. You and your friend stay inside room for 24 hours and making noice and disturb all other guests around. And day when you leave we have schok to see such room and dammage what you make in the room after only 3 days of staying. Breakfast you have 12 different breakfast ala carte and if you eat only omelettes is your choice.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, denn wir haben auf unserer Sommerreise Station in 7 Hotels in 6 Ländern gemacht. Unter der Rubrik "B&B" hätten wir weniger erwartet, aber Ja, der Meerblick war toll und das Apartment war sauber. Hotel-Standard mit 4 Sternen ist anders. Romantik-Deluxe!!-Apartment bezog sich wohl auf das extrem enge Doppelbett!! Das WC war nur seitlich benutzbar, da sonst die Tür vor den Knien war. Am Wochenende konnte weder eine defekte Türklinke im Bad repariert, noch fehlende Handtücher nachgereicht werden. auch Zimmerreinigung fand nur gelegentlich statt. Der 2. Kaffee am Morgen gehörte nicht mehr zum gebuchten Frühstück. Für 119 EUR je Nacht hatten wir mehr erwartet. Wir sind eher abgereist und nicht mal das nicht genutzte Frühstück wurde uns erlassen ...

Вилла расположена в тихой черногорской деревне,на берегу Тиватского залива(буквально 10 метров до воды). Для тех,кто предпочетает спокойный отдых,это идеальное место.Чистый номер(ежедневная уборка),доброжелательные хозяева и обслуживающий персонал.Все это способствует отличному отдыху.

Отдых - конец мая 2013, сезон дождей. Номер люкс на 2 этаже (из 3): спальня, очень удобный холл с кожаной мебелью, кухонка с плитой, сан блок с душевой кабиной. Выход на просторную веранду со столиками для каждого номера и с видом на море и горы. Уборка и поддержание чистоты - безукоризненные. Завтрак "нешведский стол", меню не создает "пищевой эйфории" как в Испании или Израиле. Но, с другой стороны, без лишних калорий и соблазнов. С ужином (или обедом) уже все хорошо. Предложат готовить его только из свежих продуктов - или только что пойманная рыба или свежее мясо, отличное местное вино, прекрасный вид из ресторана - это уже праздник. До моря 3 шага, несколько оборудованных сходов в море, как в бассейнах. Вода чистейшая, дно моря комфортное, с условиями для купания проблем нет. К чему надо быть готовым. Вилла находится в бывшей рыбацкой деревне, через нее проходит извилистая дорога, много др крепких домах, но гулять здесь негде, кроме участка перед фасадом виллы, магазинов нет, до Тивата 15 км, до ближ супермаркета 7-8 км. Выход только один - брать авто в прокат, что и было сделано. Посмотреть есть чего. Потряс красивейший Котор и бухта. На пароме через залив недалеко граница с Хорватией. Возвращаясь на виллу особенно чувствуешь ее прелесть и уединенность. Хорошо - работал бесплатный WiFi, очень радушная и симпатичную хозяйка Нада. Итог - плюсов намного больше, при условии мобильности - отдых отличный, желаем Всем хорошей погоды!

Ottimo per coppia in un posto tranquillo
Esperienza basata su un periodo di soggiorno di fine ottobre, percui un pochino fuori stagione. Posizione bella e tranquilla con vista favolosa sul mare. Per spostarsi ci vuole comunque un mezzo di trasporto proprio. Ideale per coppie che amano la tranquillità. La qualità della cucina non posso giudicare perchè non era operativa (fuori stagione). Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Proprietaria e assistente molto gentile e famigliare. Tutto sommato è stato un bel fine settimana. Grazie.

+ VERY nice and HELPFUL staff, a well-designed menu with good food, incredible views, fine deignade rooms, new and fresh. - Air condition, not enough cold. But overall a very nice place that it is well worth visiting.
