“What a lovely time!”
We had a great time. Everyone was friendly and when out of their way to help. The hotel lived up to the Ritz Carlton name.
“Great Hotel”
Food is expensive and no beach activities. Expected more for Jamaica
“Simply most beautiful hotel in the Montego Bay area.”
This hotel is located in a very beautiful area. The beach area is a bit small but cozy.My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed coffee each morning as well as the paintings in the lobby area. we often stopped by the jerk center in the beach area and tried a variety of dishes which were very delicious and the cost was reasonable, and friendly service was no problem mon.
“Wonderful. Had a great time.”
Other than a moldy smell from the a/c unit (which was promptly fixed with minimal intrusion), our stay was just fabulous. All watersports (catamaran rides, windsurfing lessions, sea kayaking) are complimentary. The real kicker was the live music at the lounge everynight.
“Very Impressed”
The hotel personnel were phenomenal; very courteous and friendly. they also had a lot to do on the grounds
“Excellent!!!”
Service was absolutely wonderful, the accomodations were tremendous. The drive from the airport is only 15 minutes which is nice. I definitely recommend getting the all inclusive plan because meals are very expensive. Only downfall is the small beach area.
“Great Jamaican Hotel”
The hotel is great. The food is good, but you do need to be on the "all-inclusive" plan. Selection of restaurants is good as well. The only drawback to the hotel is the swimming beach area. The hotel needs to find a way to eliminate the rocks! Maybe dredge the beach area and add sand so that you can walk out and swim without the need for surf-socks. The rocks, even out near the break-water, are definitely a draw back and injuries can occur on them easily. The sandy beach area is great, though.
“Heaven on Earth! No lie!”
From the time we got off the plane until the time we left Montego Bay to come back to Boston, we got top notch service. The concierge staff were incrediable and knowledgable about the services and gave us accurate information with a smile, morning noon and overnight. The excursions were expensive, but we enjoyed 2 each and that was enough for us. We didn't like that the hotel literally turned into a ghost town after 12 midnight, but the free transportation to the hip strip kept us busy during our stay every night. The shopping center was kinda high end with 10 jewelry stores and not enough clothing stores. All in all the experience was a 5 overall from this scale meaning etremely satisfied. Bring plenty of money though! Housekeeping needs a raise because they worked 24 hours a day....Room service was expensive, and a $120.00 bill made us never use it again.
“Love it!”
Excellent service, food and drinks were awesome..Nicest people in the world! 10 mins from the airport. Great place to relax. Not much of a night life scene on the resort but with family and frineds it is perfect!
“A Great Resort with Exceptional Service”
Simply put, this place is fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend getting the all-inclusive "Key to Paradise Plan". We got it, and based on the prices I saw for drinks and food, we easily would have spent 3 times what we paid for the plan. The beach is a bit small, and there are a lot of rocks in the water, so bring some water shoes if you plan on hanging out at the beach. The service was fantastic. They really go out of there way to make every interaction exceptional. We can't wait to go back!
