“Great Hotel”
From the moment we got there we were greated with a drink. The service was outstanding. I would definatley recommend others to stay at this resort. The meals and drinks were fantastic. Overall a great experience.
“Loved every minute!”
Sunset Beach and Spa was fantastic. From the moment we arrived to check out, everything was perfect. Great food and drinks, friendly staff and great pools and beach. Lots of activities and the "au natural" beach was very cool. The weather was outstanding! Can't wait to go back for a longer stay.
“Dalia & Howard”
The hotel proved pretty much as we expected - nice room, nothing really fancy at all, Very nice grounds and nice beaches. All of the hotel staff proved very attentive to our needs and to their guests. The dining facilities - especially the main dining area, with the buffet, was just fine and the bufet was excellent. The so-called "specialty " restaurants were not really up to par, just so-so and could be improved to make them tastier and much more authentic.
“Relaxing, laid back, next time i'll bring my kids”
We stayed for 4days Oct 20-24th 2011 and enjoyed ourselves, our room was ocean front *a bit outdated* but it was clean , and that matters more to me than decor/ It also had an amazing view, a though a nice walk from the main lobby and resturants, it was quiet (so again i didnt mind). The staff was awesome s/o especially to the young Bartender Haveron- that served in Sizzles (late nite bar) and his "purple splash" drink. Thank Goodness for the resturants the food there was awesome, after 2days of buffet your dying for something with a little flavor, so Definately Make your dinner resevations its worth it!-- Next time i'll bring my kids.
“Had a Great Time!”
Albeit, it is showing it's age a little, Sunset Beach Resort is still a very nice place. We went in between Spring Break and Summer so we avoided many families and children. It was quite relaxing and not crowded at all. We booked the cheapest room with a view of the mountains, but the hotel put us on the top floor with a view of the ocean (waiting for the elevator wasn't as bad as we had expected). It was really nice. Food was typical. Buffet wasn't spectacular but it kept us fed. Specialty restaurants were nice and since we went in between busy seasons, making reservations were pretty easy. The Italian restaurant was actually really good. Our group enjoyed it the best. Staff was friendly. Went into town 2 evenings and enjoyed jerk chicken besides the street. It was the best! Margaritaville was dead for a Saturday night. Jamaica is actually nice if you visit with an open mind.
“great first time jamican visit every thing was just great.”
our first visit to the island, great reciption at the hotel, woul be back with more family member next year, thanks alot.
“would go back”
Excellent place to vacation, the rooms were clean. I had no complaints on the food. Definitely book your reservations for the Chinese and Italian places right away because they don't seat many people. Beaches were OK. Drinks were great. Would return again.
“Awesome Honeymoon Destination”
Me and my Wife had a great time at this all-inclusive Resort and Spa. We relaxed and enjoyed our very comfortable 6 night stay. The food was great...the layout of the resort was great...the employess were very helpful. All in all this is a great place to escape from the real world for a nice vacation.
“Had a great time!!”
My family had a great time at Sunset Beach. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the waterpark and pools. We had excellent service during our stay and would go back again in a heartbeat. The food was fine. I have a child with life threatening food allergies and the food service staff was able to accommodate his needs. The food at the pool grill was over processed and I threw away my hotdog. My son's burger looked like mystery meat. Eat in the buffets and resturants and you will leave a few pounds heavier than you came. The drinks were good and strong. Everyone on the resort staff was very friendly and helpful.
“have a great time”
HOTEL WAS GREAT, STAFF VERY FRIENDLY.
