I have gone to several all inclusives (all in the same price range)--aruba, mexico-2x's, jamaica--3 times. I have to say that the staff was the nicest, most polite and accommedating I've ever experienced. The made the stay very enjoyable. The waiters and waitresses on the beach really took care of us!!We went for a 50th birthday celebration and we needed to tell the staff 24 hours ahead to have a cake so we were not able to get one. Resturants--good but not gourment--even the gourmet. Wine in the resturants was much much better than any of the bars. The disco was fun and each night it catered to a differnet crowd--it wasn't all rap as one review mentioned but more current music now. the beach was nice and you could snorkel right around the rocks and see fish. I was disappointed that all of the resturaunts were inside except for the lunch buffet. I like to stay at resorts that are all open air, but I don't mind heat or humidity at all. The resort is only about 3 years old so it's appearance is newer and cleaner which I liked. There is a shower room right by the front desk so the last day when we had to check out at 12, we could leave our bags in storage and then shower and bring our towel cards to the front desk and stay on the beach the maximum amount of time before our taxis came.

“Rose Hall's Best! Exceeds expectations!”

Because we were traveling with a child, we were upset that we couldn't stay at the Iberostar Grand, but, we soon learned that this resort would exceed our expectations. Though we booked 2 rooms with 2 double beds, they weren't available upon checking in, but, we were immediately given rooms with a King bed and a sofa bed which turned out to be surprisingly comfortable. When we contacted the front desk the next morning, they immediately offered us the doubles but declined because we were fine with the accommodations! The entire staff was AMAZING! I don't know if it's just a Jamaica thing in general but, we felt more like we were visiting a long-time friend's home as far as the hospitality goes! Also, there were many people (that wanted to socialize and have more fun) visiting our pool, beach and restaurants from the Iberostar Grand! That tells me that we got the better deal! I can't say it enough, the staff is amazing; staff at the front desk, the restaurant staff, bartenders, pool and beach staff, household and turn-down staff, the spa, EVERYONE!! The resort, the rooms and grounds are beautiful, well-furnished and decorated! The beach that this resort sits on is amazing! Clean water at a heavenly temperature! Lots of activities available; kayaking, snorkeling, archery, aerobics, etc. I definitely recommend! I would definitely stay at this resort again...in fact, they might have ruined me for other resorts because I may now hold them up to Iberostar's standard!

The hotel was very inviting and all the employees were very helpful. The activtiy each day was to die for. The atmosphere was great. Had a blast.

The service we received at the Iberostar was wonderful! From the moment we arrived until we left, we received great service. The staff was always attentive, from the buffet dining, to the restaurant dining to the pool service. The evening entertainment was funny and engaging. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back!

“Beautiful hotel and I mean beautiful and great service”

I had not heard of Iberostar before I started researching our honeymoon. I was 90% ready to book Sandals before I started reading more and more reviews about Iberostar. I ended up booking Iberostar SUITES because it looked like more "bang for the buck" and I was correct. Pros: -- Hotel is ridiculously beautiful -- Hotel is super clean....I mean clean!! -- The room was (again) clean and was made up daily (including sweeping floors and wiping everything down...wow) -- Service is awesome -- Beach-side drink service was the best -- Shows are entertaining -- Nightclub inside resort was a lot of fun - and safe because it's just guests -- Infinity pool with swim-up bar so nice-looking Cons: -- Buffet food a couple of times was mediocre -- Restaurants get booked FAST (buffet is always open). Book them as soon as you check in. There are 3 levels of resort in the Iberostar complex (Beach, Suites, Grand) increasing in price respectively. We checked out the Beach and Grand....Beach looked a little less classy (by no means trashy), and Grand looked a little stuffy. I would recommend the mid-level...Suites.
