Property Amenities

The Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay All Inclusive features a nautical theme and sits on a half-mile of white-sand beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Downtown Montego Bay is 16 km (10 mi) away.

The property, renovated October 2008, offers two outdoor pools, one of which is reserved for adult guests and includes a swim-up bar.

Facilities and equipment for volleyball, tennis, and miniature golf are also available. Guests also have access to paddleboats, kayaks, as well as equipment for windsurfing, snorkeling, and sailing.

The GoldenSpree program offers entertainment and activities for seniors. The KidSpree Vacation Club offers daily supervised activities for guests six months to 12 years old.

SeaBreeze - Serving Jamaican-Caribbean fusion cuisine on the beach. Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday for dinner. Reservations required; beach tables available. Located on the East Beach.

Portside Restaurant - Buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at the hotel's main restaurant. Buffet includes a Kid's Buffet Corner and a Pizza Bar with daily specials. Located in the main lobby, next to the gaming parlor and slot machines.

Barefoot Bar & Grill - Located in the main pool and beach area. Serving burgers, hot dogs, and other light fare. Open late morning to late night.

Paella Restaurant - Italian dishes served for dinner. Featuring an outdoor terrace with panoramic ocean views. Casual restaurant; reservations required. Located on the second floor of the main hotel building.

The resort provides a large, freeform pool with wheelchair accessibility, a kiddie dancing water fountain, and another pool with a swim-up bar reserved for adult guests.

“Wonderful Stay”

My husband and I spent 12 lovely days at Sunspree. The food was good. The beach beautiful. The staff was very professional. I can't imagine having a better time, anywhere.

“Pretty Happy”

This is my second time in the hotel, and I say the hotel was cleaner the first time around, but they are very happy to accomidate you to your standards and that was fine. Good, entertaining, family oriented place. Will return if I return to MoBay.

“Worth the money”

The hotel was really nice, fun and family oriented except they should not charge for wifi, i found that outragious. Also the reservation for the restaurant is a first come first serve but if am spending 3 nights I should be able to go to atleast 2 different restaurant, but this was not so. Maybe they should find a way to streamline this process, make it available at checkin or booking.

“Great Vacation”

There were six of us traveling together, three couples. The hotel staff did their best to put us in rooms near each other. The pools and beaches were great. We had concerns about the beaches because we had seen some complaints. While you weren't able to go out very far in the water, it was easy to accept because the hotel is protecting the coral reef. I have a great deal of respect for them for that. The hotel has 1/2 mile of beachfront, and there are places to go in which you can get up to your shoulders in the water. The water was very warm, clear and absolutely beautiful! Snorkeling around the little island was great. Lots of sealife everywhere to enjoy! We tried all the restaurants and, of course, the buffet. Great food! We would definitely go back!

“Can't wait to go back”

This was truly a AWESOME experience from my family which includes 2 children, parents in their 70's and us. Only hick up was slow check in but the rest was No Problem. Very kid friendly, family oriented resort. Food was good, beach great, activities for kids great and nightly entertainment perfect for a fun relaxing stay in Jamaica!

“Fun and Relaxing”

Our experience at the Hotel was great. We had excitement, relaxation, good food, and fun everyday. The staff was so friendly I had to make a list so I could give a tip at the end of the stay (per hotel policy, by envelope, anonymously). I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Jamaica.

“Christmas in Jamaica”

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, we had great room's, food was really good, would go back today if My boss would let me " honey please lets go back" Thanks to everyone @ the Holiday Inn for making our vacation GREAT !!!
