“Home Away From Home”
I have stayed at this hotel the past three times I was in Jamaica. The views are spectacular! All of the hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. I look forward to seeing everyone each time I go. The rooms are clean and bright. The food and drinks at the hotel are also very reasonably priced. Be sure to try the ackee and saltfish for breakfast!! If you are looking for a low key, quiet, relaxing atmosphere this is the place for you. I will be staying here the next time I am in Jamaica for sure!
“Grandiosa is a great choice if staying in Montego Bay”
I stayed at Grandiosa on both 9/28 and 9/29 of 2010. The staff was very nice and helped me with whatever I needed. I came to Jamaica to only be in the hotel to sleep, but due to Tropical Storm Nicole I ended up having to stay at the hotel for the two days. I would not want to be anywhere else. The hotel is clean, has a great bar/restaurant. Friendly staff. Very close to the airport. Great views of the ocean and the Strip below. I would suggest if you were going to Montego Bay, to stay at the Grandiosa.
“The food was fabulous, excellent chef!”
Hotel Grandiosa was a wonderful suprise located minutes from MBJ airport on a hilltop is this villa style newly renovated hidden treasure. The dining was excellent 5-star quality! The staff was gracious and courteous our entire stay. Hotel Grandiosa is not on the beach but a shuttle arrived daily to take you to the beach of your choice and pickup at the end of the day. I will definitely revisit Hotel Grandiosa again, if for no other reason than the food!
“Definitley going back to Grandiosa.”
This is by far the best place to be in MoBay. Beautiful view and right above all the action and close enough to get to it in a few minutes. Just a few minutes from the airport also. People were very nice and did not interfere with my visitors as a lot of places in Jamaica do. Loved it. Exactly where I'll be in May of 2011.
“one of the most comfortable,quiet relaxing hotels I've ever used”
The food was great..some Jamaican choices which were very good & other "American " choices. The chef came out & spoke with us to tell us what certain foods were & to answer any questions. That was neat! The only real concern I have is that the swimming pool could have been kept cleaner.
“Love the Grandiosa and all who work there!!!”
The Grandiosa was great. The rooms were clean, the pool was beautiful, and all the staff were helpful and accomodating. The restaurant and bar were great to have since the hotel is away from Montego Bay's Hip Strip, and pretty reasonably priced for all meals. They have a free shuttle twice a day down to the beach, which was nice because it's not safe to walk from the hotel to the beach because of the busy road, however it costs about $10 to taxi back. I would definitely go back to the Grandiosa.

This hotel is very good for the price, cleanliness and comfort. Well located near airport and in the hub of everything. Very good for going sightseeing, shopping etc. The food is very good and the staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Very good choice. Have already recommended this hotel to other people.
“Love the hotels people!!!!”
We were completly charmed by Donovan the best bartender in Montego Bay. He is Handsome and sweet. Very accomodating and interesting to talk to. The hotel managers husband Hemy gave us a personal tour of the local area. He was awesome and kind. He went out of his way for us. They have a Travel Guide named Carleton Smith who was trustworthy, on time, helpful, kind,well mannered and a total blast to hang out with. He was very knowledgeable of Jamaican history and gave us one of the best tours I ever had to Dunn Falls. I would recommend this hotel with its Fabulous Bartender Donovan and Outstanding tour guide Carleton Smith to anyone. We love these people they made the trip worthwhile.
“GREAT EXPERIENCE, GREAT HOTEL!”
This Hotel was wonderful. We stayed for 6 days and everything was in order each day of our stay. The staff was wonderful and ready and willing to assist us with what ever we needed. Very clean hotel, nice pool, great view, and an awesome bar and restaurant! The only negative about this hotel is it is too far to walk to the hip strip and the beach. Traffic is so crazy there and almost no sidewalks. We played it safe and took the hotel shuttle (taxi) to the beach and hip strip when ever we wanted to go. Our driver George was wonderful, he even drove us all the way to ocho rios so we could go to Dunn River Falls, and up in to the mountains to do the zipline tour. If you don't mind taking a taxi to get around then I would recommend this hotel!!! IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!
“Wonderful getaway on the Mountaintop with breathtaking views”
The hotel was quiet and beautifully nestled from the hustle and bustle of our usual lives. Very relaxing to say the least. We had a wonderful experience, the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The hotel was clean, pool area was beautiful, quiet and clean. Courtesy shuttle to and from airport, beaches and hip strip or a small 5 minute walk to strip or beach gets you around. The food at the restaurant was top notch! We mostly ate all meals at the hotel since the food was much better than anywhere else. For the price, you can't beat it in all of Jamaica. I strongly recommend eating breakfast, lunch and dinner outside to get the best ocean, pool and mountain views. The bar staff really knows how to mix up some delicious drinks, excellent blended fruit cocktails with real fruit. It was delicious. We even used the hotel computer to check e-mails and communicate with friends and family. They offer free internet service to all guest and no one does that these days.
