“Clean, overlooks golf course, lousy parking”
Get there early in the evening if you want to park within 100 yards of this hotel.
“Great Hotel with reasonable price”
Room is great with nice golf view with all of the 3 rooms in my party even I paid the cheapest rate. Still the building next door (Gold Club house or something) seems to have party going on during weekend with loud music that you can easily hear that from the street. Lucky all of our rooms are far from it so we were not affected at all. Breakfast is easy and plenty of food. Very good deal and highly recommended.

I didn't spent too much time in the hotel, but i wish i could have. Having the breakfast buffet included with the rooms was very convenient for my family. I would definitely go back.

“Our regular place to stay in LA area”
We like the area, the breakfast-lunch, the nearby restaurants and the fact that it is so beautiful and comfortable as well as completely non-smoking. All staff was friendly and helpful.. Room is always kept neat and clean. Lobby is nicely furnished and kept well. We always feel at home here. We have been staying here since it opened, and look forward to many more visits.
“Nice Hotel”
My husband and I traveled to a conference at USC in October and were looking for a hotel that was close to the conference center, but also within a reasonable driving distance to downtown LA. This hotel worked perfectly for us, as traffic around the main routes to and from the hotel was fairly light. The hotel was well maintained and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was in the middle of a golf course, so there was not traffic noise at night. There is a banquet hall a few blocks away, and several parties/events were taking place two of the four nights that we were at the hotel. We did not hear any noise from the banquet hall, but parking was a little tight. The hotel does restrict parking on its premises to guests only and issued a parking pass to us for the duration of our stay. We were always able to find a parking spot that was within a 2 minute (or less) walk to the hotel. Since you can enter from the back of the hotel (which is close to the bottom parking lot), or you can enter from the front, the parking situation was really not a problem. The breakfast staff was friendly and attentive as were the front desk folks. I would stay at this hotel again if we return to Montebello.
“Cant wait to go back next year, will stay longer!”
we arrived early and they accomodate straight away. The presentation of the hotel and the rooms is great and the quality of the room, bed, bathroom is very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are very pleasant and breakfast choices are wide. the special rate at the onsite golf course is great and they are accomodating to tee time requirements.
“Montebello Wonder!”
I was surprised at how nice the hotel is. The location is perfect, surronded by the green golf course. The only drawback was the nightclub next door - too many people for a Thursday night but fine the rest of the time! The hotel was great! the beds are truly comfortable! Reasonble price and great room. Close to the freeway too but off the busy road. NICE.
“Will always stay here”
Although, I stayed here for business it was a very relaxing ambiance to wake up to and to come home to as the hotel is situated on a large golf course, so the setting is absolutely gorgeous!
“We loved it!”
This was a very nice ending to our southern California vacation. The room had very comfortable beds, nice TV & wi-fi, plus we had a lovely view of the golf course. The pool was great to relax in after running around at Universal Studios all day. The hotel staff was super friendly and accomodating. For example: the AC was leaking in our room and they fixed it and dried the carpet immediately. Also, one of the maintenence men gave my son and husband a golf-cart tour of the grounds...which they loved! We enjoyed eating at the restaraunt twice, once for supper (on the patio) and once for the delicious breakfast buffet. The prices were good and it sure was convenient walking downstairs instead of driving around looking for a place to eat. Overall, we will definately use this hotel again when we return to the Hollywood area.
