“Great find.”

This hotel is a great value. From what I could see of Montclair, it's in a nice area. I'm a single female and felt very safe. It was also very quiet. The granite counter looked recently done, nice carpeting, and the shower was wonderful. The outside also looked recently painted. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only reason that I don't give it a five is because my mattress was old and broken down. I felt pretty stiff in the morning. They may be in the process of changing the mattresses because they seemed to be putting all guests in one part of the complex. I asked to be on the other side and may have ended up in a room with an old mattress. Anyway, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. If a decent mattress is important to you, I suggest calling before you decided to stay there.

“extremely good value”

To be honest, I was worried about this motel after reading about it online. But when I got into my room I was very pleased. Everything was very clean. Beds comfortable. Plumbing was a little loud, but nothing that woke me up or made me uncomfortable.

“Ghetto”

The first morning we stayed, we got woken up by the police banging on our door looking for a criminal. It was a very sketchy area, I would spend a few more dollars to feel more safe and stay somewhere else. Plus, I dont think they washed the sheets, gross.
