Hotel "sorry"Posted 18-Oct-2013
Pros: Sorry, couldn't come up with anything
Every moving part was broken. Telephone didn't work. Movie channel was broken. Key cards wouldn't work 4 times in 2 days and for a coup de gras, the front desk couldn't check us out as the system wasn't working.

Comfort and spacePosted 14-Oct-2013
Pros: Location, room size and fittings, communal areas, amenities, staff.
Cons: Breakfast offering.
Location: Hiking in Tremlant national park to see the fall colours and a couple of waterfalls was lovely. There are many outdoor activities all year round.
We were very impressed with the room size and comfort, absolutely fantastic, nice decor and upmarket toiletries. There were plenty of towels including pool towels and the kitchenette was well equipped for basic cooking. The room, kitchenette and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were efficient and friendly, though service in the restaurant was slow for no apparent reason. The food in the restaurant was high quality and expensive. The location of the hotel is excellent and there is a shuttle into the Tremblant resort. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and it is located next to a very pretty lake. A breakfast offering of something other than muffins would be an improvement at this level of hotel (even croissants would be better). Apart from that cannot recommend highly enough, would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The room was spectacular!
Cons: The bar and restaurant were closed because of low season.
Location: Everything was pretty much closed because their busiest times are winter and summer and we went in the fall.
The hotel was beautiful and Annie at the front desk was delightful! The she upgraded our room to a 2-bedroom suite for free and gave us a really late checkout because it was not a busy season. The kids enjoyed the pool and all their amnesties! Would definitely go back!

Peaceful locationPosted 17-Sep-2013
Pros: Quiet and roomy
Cons: Bar service
Although a few miles from The Village the location is quiet and by a lake. I would not recommend you spend anytime at the bar. We ordered 2 Double Rum and cokes and were charged 4 x $6 for the Rum plus 4 x $2 for the Coke! $32 total and last time I checked doubles have less pop not double! Needless to say we went elsewhere . The rooms were nice and staff at the front desk were excellent.

Great place to stay for familiesPosted 9-Sep-2013
Pros: We really like the two bedroom suite - we had enough space for the six of us to move around without tripping over each other. It was great being
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: There were plenty of uutdoor activities available for all ages. The shopping was great!
Our suite was on the main floor so my grandsons could go directly from our patio to the hot tub and the pool (not having to go on the elevator). The staff were very friendly and accommodating for our needs. The one telephone didn't work, and the one toilet was plugged, but staff were there within minutes to fix the problem. Our two bedroom suite was very spacious for six people - we weren't trippping over each other. I would most certainly stay at the Chateau Beauvallon again. I would also recommend the hotel to other families.

Gorgeous hotel, just outside the central resort area (but with free constant shuttle service usually within 5 minutes of requesting the service), lovely winding outdoor pool and decent sized hot tub (both surprisingly nice and quite warm) with a lifeguard quietly on duty at all times (note to hotel - give the poor lifeguard time off as she worked from 10am to 8pm one day and then showed up for work the next day). It also has a small indoor pool if it rains (although it is VERY small). Free juice/coffee/hot chocolate, yummy muffins and fruit in the morning and THE BEST STAFF EVER (especially Danny the valet, tour guide and all around people charmer). The lake/pond at the foot of the hotel was beautiful, and it would have been great to have been able to use the fire pit by the lake if it hadn't rained (note: bring your own wood if you are planning to do that). Unfortunately we didn't even get a chance to use the putting green. Overall, a lovely place I highly recommend for (quiet) family or one on one time as it caters to all with personal service. There were a lot of kids there when we visited, but we rarely heard them except for certain times when at the pool. It would be just as lovely for couples given the intimate surroundings and inhouse steak and sushi restaurant (which we didn't visit). We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it!!

Best for families.Posted 3-Sep-2013
Location: Wonderful to be near the national park, the linear bike path, and the village of Tremblant.
The room/suite was spacious and bed comfortable; nice to have kitchenette and two bathrooms. The air conditioning cooled the common space but did not make an adequate impact in the bedroom where it was needed for comfortable sleeping. My husband stood in line at the front desk multiple times, attempting to get us pool towels (which were supposed to be in the room). The staff was overwhelmed and took care of other guests out of order. We enjoyed having a small patio with table/chairs outside of the living room. Wonderful to have jacuzzi access but the water was not hot. The lighting was a bit odd.
