“wonderful family atmosphere”
I can't say enough good things about these Villas. Sort of a combination of apartment/hotel with the benefits of both less a few amenities. Don't expect shampoo & other little knick knacks that hotels throw in but the aparments are huge with refrigerators and fully stocked kitchens. Everything including glasses, plates, bowls, silverwear, stove, microwave oven, cooking bowls & utensils. I saw many families enjoying time by the pool making batches of coffee and deserts after a nice bar-b-que. There were some single men from South Africa who had regular beer/wine & bar-b-ques but they were quiet and respectful. There were newly-weds, families, singles, retired folks, it was a very nice blend of people - quiet and reserved. A public beach (beautiful) is about 50 meters down the road. At the end of this beach is the Club Med - should give you an idea of how nice the beach is. The pool at the hotel is nice and refreshing. The Villa's staff were wonderful, helped out with travel arrangements and extra towels for the pool. They even let me check out late for a PM flight. Would stay here again and again. Across the street is the Mont Choisy Hotel (5 star), I ate at their beach front resturaunt regularly as well as the resturaunt across the road. There is a shop nearby but catch the bus to the big market for grocery shopping.
“Very nice villas in a lovely area”
Fairly quiet, but a beautiful place to stay.
“Average!”
This place was OK. We had a studio apartment which was quite big but basic and also had an ajoining door to the next door apartment. This was noisy but all noise was drowned out by the aircon anyway. It was very clean, but well used. The pool and garden were very nice but unfortunately close to the very busy main road which is noisy during the day. Quiet in the evenings though. Very very close to the big public beach, which is very nice and safe for swimming. Many restaurants a short walk or taxi ride away - if walking a torch is vital at night to be seen by traffic (no pavements)!! All in all a good base for sightseeing in the North.
“Not impressed”
Nothing there apart from a pool and appartments no drinks machine. If you want peace and quite thats the place to go. Not really for children nothing to do for them.
