“Best Dog Friendly Hotel”
This hotel was the Bomb! We came in for a dog show and the hotel was ready for us. I loved the drive thru check in. It took less than 5 minutes to get our room key & be on our way to our room. They had doggie bags with treats, scarves & coupons for dog food. The staff was friendly and not afraid of the different breeds of dogs that were staying there. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the grounds were well maintained. Overall, this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at recently. I'll definitely be back when I go to dog show in Monroe.
“Great value”
Lots of places to eat close by, great for the 1 night we were in town.
“Red Roof Inn - a great bargain!”
My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. Based on the great rate that we got, we weren't expecting much. We were quite pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! The staff was very courteous, the complimentary breakfast was very good (make your own waffles, help yourself to toast, bagels, or cereal, orange juice, coffee, tea, etc.). The pool wasn't huge but it was very nice. The room was excellent for the money: clean, roomy, very comfortable bed, nice decor, etc. The surrounding neighborhood was pleasant and the inn was conveniently located just a few miles from downtown Monroe. We would definitely stay there again!

“Good for the money”
This room was good for the money we paid for it. The bathroom was dirty especially the toilet. The sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned and there wasn't a fresh handsoap. Ours had already been upwrapped and it looked like it had been used. The beds were comfy and clean. The room was clean too. The ice machine was broken and looked kinda gross. The front desk were nice though. Overall, not bad I guess for what I paid.
“Dollar Value”
The Monroe Red Roof Inn is what most travellers are looking for; a clean, comfortable room at a decent price, and that's exactly what you get here. Nothing fancy, and very few extras, but for people who don't want to pay for the extras they won't use anyways, it doesn't get any better than this. The features I like include easy on/off access to the interstate, plenty of nearby restaurants from fast food favorites to sit down meals, and a nice golf course across the road, for those so inclined. What I didn't like was the traffic noise from the interstate; were I to stay there again, I would request a room on the south side of the building. For anyone looking for downtown, shopping, etc., you'd best be equipped with a street map or GPS, as the route is not at all obvious. But all in all, it's hard to beat the value for the money.
“More than our money's worth”
Great value for the bucks. Convenient location, clean room, all the amenities expected, pet friendly, courteous staff,

“Could have been better.”
The hotel appeared to be fairly new and in good condition in a good neighborhood. The room was clean, but there was no shower curtain and the air conditioning did not work. There was a coffeemaker in the room but no coffee. We were up at 5 am to go fishing on Lake Erie, but the lobby did not open til 6 am, so no coffee. Since we were just looking for a cheap place to sleep prior to fishing, the hotel sufficed, but it could have been better!
“Inconveniences”
Hello, My registration was not put in the computer correctly. I didn't learn that until my key card expired on the second night. After that, my room was cleaned daily. Then, my key card didn't work AGAIN! It was frustrating to drive back to the office at 9:30 at night in the cold to get the key fixed. It's too bad because everything else about the hotel was fine.
