This little out-of-the way motel outside of Moncton was owned by a young Korean/Canadian couple who seemingly have done some work on this motel in the last few years. The young woman had not received our booking from hotels.com when we arrived so we knew it was not something that she was accustomed to. Her English was limited but she understood everything and she went out of her way to accommodate us. The unit was the most basic we have ever stayed in: there was no Kleenex, no coffee in the room, just one small bottle of shampoo but it did have a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was also very basic with a rationed supply of supplies. There were 4 Tassimmo pods, 2 cereal bars, two cereals (cheerios and raisin bran), a loaf of bread and toaster, packets of jam, peanut butter, and cream cheese (but no bagels or English muffins), some boiled eggs in a chafing dish, and a bunch of bananas. Yogourt in the fridge along with milk but no coffee cream. The breakfast eating area was part of a little grocery area where you could buy some basic supplies for camping. The price with tax was $75CAD which is good for Canadian motels. I left there feeling that we were helping a new Canadian family establish a business in their chosen country. Everything was exceptionally clean and the two queen beds were new and very comfortable! I would recommend it to travellers who just want a place to sleep and grab a quick coffee in the morning.
