“Can't wait to go back”
This is an amazing resort because the staff are very approachable, attentive to needs, very friendly, and trustworthy. It is not 5 star but very clean, comfortable and accessible. I highly recommend this resort.
“Best inclussive in Mombasa and most people return”
The hotel is not in the centre of anywhere, a taxi costs about 2000 shillings (1000 if you haggle). All inclusive hotels often skimp on the service and provide cut corners. Here is one Hotel that does bucks that trend. True you are requested to wear your wrist band but without exception, from arrival through to checking out, service was nothing short of excellent. The reception area is well organised, well managed and aesthetic. Any problems I heard about were solved and quickly and efficiently and is in part why people come back year after year. I enjoyed a sea view overlooking the Indian Ocean and quiet pool (no children and no music), so enjoyed a quiet night. I cannot say for the other areas, some of which looked over crowded. The accommodation was basic, sufficient (solo traveller) and clean with the usual furnishing TV (multi langauge) and mosquito net. No bath but a shower and constant hot water. Buffet style food is varied and caters for a broad range of clientele and theme nights add to the variety. The well attended bars are well stocked and the staff largely efficient. You feel secure in the hotel with visible security patrols 24hr. If you can spare three nights, book a safari and stay at their sister hotel Intrepid where, again, the guests return year after year.
“Highly recommend”
Best hotel I ever stayed at. Food is pretty and service is superb. Highly recommend
“Voyager Beach Resort”
The Voyager Beach Resort was great, it's a beautiful hotel with all the amenities you need. The staff are friendly and helpful, you have a choice of three restaurants, the main restaurant is a buffet of local cuisine.
“Great Beach Side Resort”
This is a great place to stay in Mombassa for people wanting a family friendly resort experience. You can get an all-inclusive room which includes all day food at the buffet restaurants on site and access to all the sporting facilities (sailing, tennis, etc). There is free entertainment every night, and a daily program of events for children. It was a great stay and I'd love to go back.
“A Fantastic Resort”
My husband and I spent three glorious days at the Voyager Beach Resort and just returned back to Nairobi. The resort resembles a cruise ship with several different decks and visits to different countries whose food is featured for that day. There are beautiful gardens and three swimming pools. What appealed to us most were the variety of guests - young, old, tourists from Europe, and numerous Kenyan families with children. There were many activities offered for the children all day long. The service was excellent. The rooms were large enough and the air conditioner was a great help to cool down in the Mombasa heat. The view of the Indian ocean was absolutely fantastic. The all inclusive aspects of the Resort was also wonderful. The food was varied and plentiful. Everyone could find somethings that they liked. For one of the dinners we tried the Italian restaurant (Minestroni) and were not disappointed. The all inclusive also included meals at the Italian restaurant. It was candlelight and ala carte menu. The service everywhere was most friendly and the staff all over went out of their way to make all the guests feel comfortable. Every night there was a show put on by the energetic and very talented animators. .We would highly recommend this place for a holiday, whether you are honeymooners, a family with children or an older couple. There is something here for everyone.
“If in North Coast Mombasa stay at the Voyager”
If in North Coast Mombasa stay at the Voyager. We had a great time.
“Amazing Hotel”
Lovely hotel, beautiful location! Staff really friendly and helpful! Food was excellent! Would definately go back and stay and would highly recommend to everyone! :-)
“superb for family holiday”
excellent service and food. nice surroundings and close to Mombasa town.
“Great place to stay and enjoy Mombasa.”
The hotel is a very attractive compoud with green grass, beautiful coconut trees. This is a very large compoud. It has 3 big swimming pools one for the kids to play in, one for the adults and also a sports pool. I also like the kids adventurers club where you can drop children off if you like so they can have a good time and play all type of games. It also have many different pubs, one in the beach and others in the compound. The hotel is one of the best in Mombasa.
