Hotel room was very clean, great breakfast. Yes, I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

“Best place in Mitchell”

The staff is wonderful, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. I wasn't afraid of touching anything or walking around barefoot. They take pride in what they do and guest service is awesome.

“Outstanding comfort in the middle of nowhere!”

Having never stayed at a Hampton Inn, we reserved this room with no expectations other than what I had read reviews. It seemed like a better than decent place. We were thrilled with this place for the reasonable price. We requested a top floor room and got it, the beds were very comfortable, and they even offered several pillows to choose from. The towels were a nice size and were even fairly soft and overall the hotel was very quiet and I didn't hear much from next door or in the hallways. The continental breakfast in the morning was delightful for a continental breakfast. Hampton Inn takes it one step further and offered omelets and sausage and you could even make your own waffles. I will definitely consider Hampton Inns in the future when I want a reasonably priced room that I can trust!

“An Excllent Hotel”

I travel often and was surprised to find this Hampton Inn -- tucked away in Mitchell, SD -- would be one of the best I have found. Clean, quiet, comfortable -- it was a great experience.

It was a very nice comfortable room. The pool area was nice. The continental breakfast could have been better. It needed more choices.

This is a very convenient spot for those who are "just driving through." The front desk clerks were cordial and helpful.

“Very Pleasant Stay”

Hotel staff was friendly - from the front desk to housekeeping. The breakfast was kept fresh and hot. The coffee was always fresh and VERY drinkable. Ice water is available all day. The room was clean and I had no fear of touching anything that might be dirty and didn't feel I had to wear shoes the whole time. The bathrooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. My only complaint, and it's minor - the bathroom faucet didn't have much water pressure. Other than that, I'd stay again in a heart beat. I wish more hotels were like this one.

I was generally impresed with this hotel.... teh room was awesome and very quiet!.....However I did have a complaint......not with Expedia....but with hotel in gerneal. I book the reservations with one credit card and when checking in....they asked for a credit card to hold for 'essentials'.....I gave them a different credit card....and the hotel charged me TWICE for the room on the 'essental credit card'-----not inpressed.....as this caused major problems. The problem is fixed now and all is well......but it definalty left a sore taste in my mouth

“Great hotel but HORRIBLE location”

The hotel is clean and the staff was very nice. However, this hotel has a HUGE downfall if you are a light sleeper like me. The on ramp onto I-90 is right outside your window with a ton of traffic going by at all times of the day and night.
