Don’t you just love this play on words—Sunny & Chair? But there’s much more fun to be had at this vacation rental in Miramar Beach, which is as charming as its name, and comfortably accommodates up to 20 people.

The living area open concept allows your group to comfortably gather around the TV while others are lazing around the dining table or visiting at the bar in the well-equipped kitchen. This three-story home has six bedrooms, all with private, full baths and TVs in each room. In addition, there’s a second-floor balcony just right for a cool drink to enjoy the view and wind down from the day’s activities.

The beach is only three blocks away, and to make the visit more enjoyable, you have a six-seat golf cart to carry all your day-at-the-beach necessities in style. For those in the group who require a more settled-back, quiet environment, the outside pool area has been specifically designed to capture every ray of sun in a lounge chair or in the pool; eating al fresco, and playing card games. Better yet, just read and nap comfortably in a deck chair. Since onshore fishing is one of your entertainment options, a grill is also part of the patio amenities.

And speaking of amusement options, jet skis and parasailing, or snorkeling and scuba diving provide you with a natural paradise adventure. Various golf courses are available to test your prowess on the fairways. Or, the entire family can enjoy mini golf challenges at the Track Recreation Center nearby. Deep-sea fishing trips could also be part of your plan, but book ahead to ensure the boat of your choice. In addition, numerous manufacturers’ outlets can be part of your shopping (and savings!) experience.

Good location
Dealing with vacation heaven as the property manager and the checkin requirements was not a good experience. I will stay away from anyone that uses them in the future. Negatives of the house, golf cart not working properly, broke down on use while at dinner. No hot water to top floor, kind of important when 4 people are staying there.

Broken pool heater
Location is close to the beach, house was clean. The only problem we had with pool heater. We requested the pool to be heated months before we arrived. Upon arrival the water was cold, heater was broken. Contacted the property manager and they fixed it after 2 days. It worked for 2 days only and broke again. They were not able to fix it so we were without warm water for the rest of our stay. Frustrated because we had a lot of kids with us and we were not able to use the pool. The pool heater should have been checked before our arrival. Very disappointed how it was handled by the property management.

Well we had to wait for them to replace the gas for the grill it was empty when we got there!!! Not good! Also the refrigerator wasn’t making ice, also the Internet wasn’t working and one of our guest had to hand in a college paper! First 24 hours was not good!!!!!

Great Location and House - Had Issues w/Mgmt Company Though
We arrived on Sat at 4pm and all seemed good. The house was great for our party. Very clean. When we attempted to use the pool we realized it was not heated and was very cold. We called and were told it would be $250 for the week to heat it. We said please add that to our stay. I later noticed we were charged $280 and when I contacted the management company I was told the difference was for tax. On Sunday the pool lady came out to turn on the heat. It never came on. We called and told the management company and they told us we needed to wait 24 hours for the pool to heat up (but the pool lady told us it should only take 2-3 hours). I contacted the management company when we still did not have heat on Monday and told them there was an error message. They asked me to send pics of the error message. On Tuesday late morning the pool lady came back, worked on the issue and the pool was finally comfortably heated at around 5pm that evening. That's 3 days we missed out on heat for the pool and were never offered a credit. The Wi-Fi also did not work until Wednesday. We contacted the mgmt company several times and finally someone came out and replaced the router. Our stay was to end on Sat at 10am meaning Friday was our last full day of vacation. On Friday morning at approx. 10am, the pool lady came and cleaned the pool, added more water (cold) and chemicals. Nobody in our party wanted to get in for a few hours due to seeing the chemicals being poured directly into the pool. We didn't understand why she would come on Friday and not Saturday. When I contacted the mgmt company (via text message) upon returning home and receiving multiple requests to leave a review, I recapped all of these issues for them. Their response was Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. I am not sure why they came on Friday instead of Saturday. The pool heat charge was $250 before tax, and with tax it came out to $280. I'm very sorry about everything that you experienced. No offer to reimburse us at all for the days we missed being able to use the pool. We weren't looking for reimbursement for the house or what we paid for it but some sort of reimbursement for the heat we paid for that we never got would have been nice. Or even a mention to have a manager call us to discuss our concerns, to get more details would have seemed more appropriate. In sum, the house is nice, in a nice location, perfect for big groups. Mgmt not so great.
