“The Marquette - Always a great hotel!”

I've stayed here time and time again, and it's always a great experience. The room is always A+ and the check-in time is also very quick. Never once did I have to wait. Check-out time is quick too. The rates that they charge are way below for what you get. Also, the hotel is 2 blocks from the Target Center and 1 block from all the nightclubs and great lounges. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

“Great Hotel!”

We spent New Years weekend here and loved it! The staff is friendly from arrival to the time you check out. We had a King room and it was huge. The washroom could use updating but it was ok nonetheless. We ate at their restaurant Basils a few times and loved it. Definitely try their Basils BLT, its great. If we have a chance to go to Minneapolis again we will try and stay here. Its a greta place in a great location

“A very classy hotel”

The hotel desk staff were pleasant and helpful. My room was upgraded, without asking, to a large suite with jet-tub. The hotel is well located - easy walking to shops and restaurants and even in winter there are many Skywalks to use. In spite of being in the downtown core traffic noise was minimal. My only very minor issue was that at check out there was only 1 person at the front desk and I encountered a small delay. Otherwise it was a wonderful hotel and I'd return in a heartbeat.

Very nice hotel, great location. Nice and close to all amenities was able to walk everywhere. And the staff were very helpful and polite in giving recommendations for dining and activities. Loved this hotel.

“Fabulous Hotel”

We booked this hotel for a girls' weekend and the Madonna concert. The location is fantastic being in the downtown core just off Nicolette Mall and only a block from the tram. You can easily take the tram to the Mall of America and the airport. #Trust me when I say this is a huge saving as it was a $45 cab ride from the airport to the hotel and it wasn't rush hour.# The staff were superb doing their best to make sure our stay was pleasant. They ensured we were well taken care of even when we arrived at the hotel at 10 am, hours before check-in. They said my giving them the call the day before allowed them to accommodate us when often they cannot. They even ensured we had side-by-side rooms. Their recommendations for supper were very in tune with what we wanted. We will definitely be back.

“Beds were small”

Beds in our room were somewhere between a twin and a double. With 3 guys in the room we had to order a cot that costs $20 per night as two guys in one bed would not be cozy. Make sure beds provided are at least a double. Otherwise, room was fine and service was great.

“A nice place to stay”

The Marquette in Minneapolis is a pretty good place to stay. We got a really good rate through expedia, so the price was very reasonable. For what we got, I wouldn't pay the full rate. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean except for the bathroom which was a bit grimy from years of use (there was a sign posted in the elevator indicating that the bathrooms are being renovated in early 2008). The television was in an awkward position, so we couldn't watch it comfortably from the bed, but we weren't there to watch television anyway. The hotel is in a good location, just a few blocks from the target centre. Parking costs an additional twelve dollars a day, but it's inside so it's probably worth it. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

“Marquette Downtown”

Very nice hotel in a great location. Very convenient to downtown in the IDS centre. Rooms are spacious and clean. Parking is expensive.
