“Vacationers from Florida...”
Exceeded our every expectation. The staff was VERY accomodating, the room was perfect (just as pictured on the web) and the afternoon wine reception was the icing on the cake... A perfect way to wind down from the day and make dinner plans. If we are ever in Minneapolis again we won't waste anytime time looking for a place to stay...
“Great holiday hotel.”
The staff was great. They were very welcoming to our family including our puppy. We could not have asked for better, kinder service. The use of the gym was also a great asset for our stay with teenagers.
“Enjoyed it.”
The suite was beautiful and made for a wonderful getaway with my husband. We enjoyed the health club downstairs, especially the lap pool. I'd highly recommend this hotel to others.
“Couples retreat.”
The hotel is a great atmosphere for couples, the rooms are great. The staff is friendly and was a great help in all aspects of our stay. Only one negative is there is a charge for internet, not uncommon but surely not what you would expect. We will definitely stay again!!!!!
“Pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed”
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. We got quite a good deal on our airfair/hotel package so I was expecting a middle of the road hotel. This was not the case with the Grand Hotel - the room was spotless when we arrived and kept that way each day by the maid service. The hotel had a unique character all its own. Each staff memeber we encounter was extremely friendly and helpful to make sure our stay was perfect. I will definitely stay at the Grand hotel again.
“Four Stars”
After a difficult experience in getting there due to the airlines, our welcome and stay were wonderful. The hotel was conveniently located for our needs in the city and the staff was friendly and helpful.
“Great style and value downtown”
Very nice hotel. The best part by far was the responsiveness and courtesy displayed by every member of the staff. Never a delay in their response and Keats concerned with furs happiness .
“Great place in the heart of downtown Minneapolis!”
Great room! Great service!
“great place for business travelers”
Very impressed. Friendly, courteous staff. Great bathroom. I would stay here again without question.
“I usually stay here when in Minneapolis”
The best part of this hotel, by far, is the gym, complete with pool. It is a real gym and run by a fitness company. This shouldn't be too surprising, as the facility used to be the Minneapolis Athletic Club before being converted into a hotel. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are nothing special, but the gym and the service make it stand out.
