“Great Accommodations”
This is a great property. Location was very convenient. The lobby and patio area was very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing....a great surprise.
“Wonderful Stay”
Everything about this hotel was great. The employees, rooms, and even the other guests were great. I specifically chose this hotel because I needed some a kitchen for my two young children. The hotel was also kid-friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other people. I have yet to stay at a Staybrige and be disappointed. It was also easy to find and there were a lot of stores and restaurants very nearby.
“Nice Stay”
Had a nice stay at this hotel. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Room wasn't quite ready when we arrived but they took our luggage, checked us in and delivered our luggage to the room while we went to get something to eat after our long drive. Pool was just enough for the kids. Breakfast was good with bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and the make your own waffles were excellent (good batter, not too thin). Juice wasn't watered down as you find at some hotels. Down the block from a movie theatre, DQ, Taco Bell, Greenmill Restaurant, Walgreens, Target. Which was convenient when had to make a snack run and the Children Tylenol run late at night. Room was nice with full kitchen and door on bedroom so kids could go to sleep while we were still up. Didn't get a chance to use it but they had a shuttle that went to Mall of Amerca. Downsides 1. we were in the smoking wing and not a fan of cigarettes, 2. further away from Metrodome than I would have liked.
“Nice place...go to a non smoking hotel and forget the pets!”
This is a very nice hotel. Nice decor, clean, spacious. The breakfast was very good, and a lot of selections. My problem was with the smoking smell on the 3rd floor I stayed on. It didn't come into my room, but every time I went to the elevator, it smelled. Also the issue I already mentioned about the dog & bird I had as room occupants across the hall from me. I think it is rude for people to drop their pets off at a motel and then take off. Not to mention how the poor things must feel being left in a strange place alone! Leave the pets at home, and Staybridge, change your pet policy if you want people like me to return to your hotel. Also, do something about the smell of smoke. I made it clear when I booked that I DID NOT want to be on the 3rd floor where I could smell smoke. I had heard this from another review, so I made sure to let the front desk know in plenty of time.
“great location close to Mall of America”
The Hotel Suite was great. On arrival tho, there was an open container of yogurt in the fridge and a couple other items. So obviously the housekeepers did not clean/check that. We called the front desk just to let them know , and they were EXTREMELY helpful with trying to find us compensation. The rest of the suite was clean. They were not able to give us another suite, but did give us a gift card and basket!!. The pool was great , the free buffet breakfast was really good for 4 grown teens!. Short 10 minute drive to the Mall. The only other complaint would be the fold out couch mattress was bad. (most are though!) Definitely would recommend for a place to stay!!
