“Great Family Hotel”
Hotel Rooms very quiet. Mine had view of water park. Great for families. Went in Winter. Reserve heated parking early, they go fast. Hotel not much to look at from outside but very nicely appointed inside. Room Service not quite up to the standards of good hotels. Left off silverware and took 20 mins to fix after food arrived. Great location within view of the Mall of America. Very close to airport and major highways. Would stay there again. Hope this helps you.
“Awesome”
The hotel was so nice and the bed was so comfortable. The rooms were so large. It was so convienient to go to the water park. We had a really great time and the people that worked there were so friendly and helpful. If I go to Minneapolis again I will be staying at this hotel.
“Very Impressed”
Awesome hotel. Room was nice and very comfortable. Will come back to this one.
“Family Getaway”
Our family of 7 (kids ages 15,13,10,2&5mo)stayed at the Grand Lodge on a Friday evening. Check-in went very smoothly and the kids were in the waterpark shortly thereafter. There was ample parking available and the location is very convenient for access to the airport, Mall of America, and downtown St. Paul/Minneapolis. The lobby of the Lodge has a 2 story stone woodburning fireplace with ample comfortable seating which sets the tone for your stay. The rooms are "out of the ordinary" with the bunkbeds... a great asset for larger families, as well as a refrigerator and microwave. The Split Rock Grille is very reasonably priced and highly recommended as opposed to the somewhat spendy and "not-so-fresh" food available at the Camp in the waterpark. We had a great stay and will plan to revisit another time.
“Great Value”
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I was traveling on business and was a bit weary to hear that there was a waterpark in this hotel. I figured that there would be a ton of kids etc. This was not the case. The hotel itself was an excellent value. The rooms are really large and have everything you would ever need. The bar/restaurant is excellent. The rooms/hotel is very clean and well kept.
“Very Nice”
We were pretty impressed with the hotel--the room was very nice and was a tremendous value and in a great location--only blocks from the Mall of America and the light rail downtown. The only things that I didn't necessarily like were that the staff didn't really provide great ideas/suggestions for stores/restaurants, etc. And we didn't do the waterpark because the prices were so ludicrous, even with the hotel discount. Nevertheless, this was still a great place to stay!
“Very Impressive”
My experience with the Radisson was awesome!!! The room was so nice, and the restaraunt was wonderful! The one and only complaint that I had was that I requested a king room & only 2 queens were available. Hotel was still awesome & I would definitely stay again.
“The kids can't wait to go back!!”
It was alot of fun and a nice family atmophere!!
“Very Impressed”
The staff was friendly. The hotel feels new and modern. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only negative was they did not have wash clothes in the room. The food at the restaurant was very good. I would stay here again in the future. This would be a great place to take your kids for a family trip. They have a water park that is connected to this hotel.
“Astonishing decor, very modern hotel”
This hotel is very up to date with modern decor, great staff, location is seconds from the mall of america, although the waterpark is only open short periods of time, it has alot to do, even for someone in their twenties, such as ourselves. The only problem we had was that the vending machines were not properly filled and at 2am when you wake up wanting something that was uncomfortable. To solve our problem we went down to the front desk and the lady was nice enough to open the snack bar/cafe to grab a bottle of water and bill it to our room. This went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely stay here again if we travel to this area.
