This Hyatt Place has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery, with a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a host, who is available to help with check-in, guest tours, and even food preparation, 24 hours a day.

The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

We were staying in Minneapolis for a a family outing and decided to stay at the Hyatt Place. Hotel is located right off the highway and located in a commerically developed area. Hotel was clean, and they provided for easy computerized checkin. Breakfast was continental with subtle pressure to upgrade to a hot breakfast. We did that one morning and were generally disappointed with the eggs and sausage. In short, the hotel was convenient and clean and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

“Nice change”

The approach of the Hyatt Place design is a nice change. It is not your typical motel. I stayed in the King room and have never seen so much room. My young son comfortably slept on the sectional.

“Very Comfortable”

What can I say...this is a very kid friendly hotel and very elegant at the same time..the staff was absolutely wonderful, the rooms were clean. the 42 inch lcd tv was a nice touch and the bed was oh so comfortable,even the smell of the hotel was great..will definately reccommend this hotel

“Will use hotel again”

Hotel is in process of upgrading service. When restaurant is finished it will be really great. Service was efficient and they gave us free mocha capiccinos every night! Room was recently remodled and was very nice. Close to shopping and Mall of America was easy to reach.

“Second time stay”

This is the second Hyatt place that I booked. 1st in Kansas City, 2nd in Minneapolis. Both were very comfortable. The onle thing I would suggest that would improve the stay, would be adding a couple of waffel makers to the breakfast, and a community microwave for after hours use...

“great value but ..”

The hotel was great, the only thing we had a problem with was during breakfast everyone seems to go down at the same time (around 9 am) so there's a line up and there wasn't enough room for everyone to sit. Other than that our trip was a blast and would go back to the hotel again.
