“Quality hotel”

We found the Embassy Suites in Minneapolis to be one of our favorite hotel of all time. The kids really enjoyed the scenery in the hotel from our 10th floor room; with all the live trees and plants it felt like paradise in the middle of our very cold midwest winter. The staff was very professional and helpful when we had questions. The full complimentary breakfast was made to order and couldn't have been better. Very impressed!

“Impressive”

Having stayed at a number of Embassy Suites over the years, I was really impressed with the care and attention given to the renovation of this older property. It's very upscale. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. And, for a runner, one of the best points was its proximity to the wonderful trails of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Reserve.

“Best hotel I've ever stayed at.”

We stayed in the king bed suite and were overwhelmed with the comfort and quality of the hotel. Our two young sons slept comfortably on the sleeper sofa in the lounge area of the room. I high recommend this hotel to anyone going to Minneapolis.

“Convenient and Quiet”

The hotel was very quiet dispite there being a wedding and a busy holiday weekend. The ease of getting to and from the Mall of America and IKEA was amazing, we didn't even use the shuttle that was available for the mall. The breakfast and manager's reception was very nice, as always. The work-out area was updated and had 3 treadmills with TVs and 3 elipticals with TVs and a stationary bike with TV. I would recommend it highly.

“Breakfast Buffet pays for the High Price”

This is a fantastic hotel, very high priced because it is next to the Mall of America. Pros: The breakfast buffet (4 adults) helps to offset the high price. The staff is very pleasant and responsive. Cons: The bathroom is small, only has room for one at a time and is located in the main bedroom. The pool is much too small for the size of the hotel-unappealing to see kids crowded in there side-by-side. The room service prices are outrageous!!!! $30 for mozarella sticks (6) and chicken quesadillas (4). $10 for a pitcher of Sprite that only had about 24 ounces in it. They charge a delivery fee in addtion to the high price and then have the nerve to leave a line for an extra tip! I went downstairs to get milk for my toddlers and the convenience shop was closed so I had to go to the bar. They charged me $11 for a quart of milk! Not kidding! But besides the financial burden of living in luxury, our family will always come back to the Embassy Suites.

“Nice Folks”

About the most helpful staff and waitresses I've run across. Be it a safety pin or directions help was right there.

“Loved it”

The double beds are a little small for two adults but it was specified that these were double beds and not queen. Other than that, the manager's reception and breakfast were great and make the extra cost worth it.
