“Inexpensive, Basic Comfort, Close to Campus”
The University Inn is geared to the traveler staying for an extended period(kitchen facilities) but was also fine for my one night stay. It was easy to find,the room was clean, the staff friendly, and it was close to Campus. It is also walking distance to a good selection of restaurants.
“excellent and very convenient hotel”
This is a very fine hotel, with a convenient small kitchen in the room. The price was very reasonable. It's near Dinky Town, where there are a lot of restaurants and cafes, and of course near the University.
“great stay at University Inn”
clean quiet room with kitchenette for a very reasonable price. great location and very helpful and friendly staff. will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Minneapolis

“Most comfortable hotel bed EVER!”
We only stayed for one night, but it was a very nice, clean and comfortable room for the price. The staff was overly nice and recommended a fantastic pizza place a few blocks from the hotel. Everyone was eager to help and make sure our stay was a pleasant one. We will make sure to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!
“Just what I wanted”
Newly renovated feel, comfortable beds, clean, on-site laundry (coin operated), kitchenette, full size refrigerator, limited dishes/pots/pans, free internet, cable flat screen tv 30"?. The best part was the service from the front desk. They made special arrangements to make our visit easier. If you expect luxury you may be disappointed. I used the inn as a base for interviews in the area and liked it enough to return a second time.

“Great place on the edge of the University campus”
Great place to stay, staff is friendly, room was very roomy, clean and comfy. There is a mini kitchen in the room if you need one. There is no pool if you are looking for one. Location is great for visting the U and the parking is free. Rare find. Would definitely stay there again.
“Great Value and Location”
Location was convenient to major interstate highways. Room was quiet and clean. Enjoyed the kitchen amenities. Breakfast was pretty skimpy - limited to one packaged roll selection and small juice can.
“nice hotel and close by to campus”
We have stayed at the University Inn three times this past school year after we noticed an upgrade to it when we drove by. It's a great location close to our childrens' apartments and close to campus. The little kitchenette is great and the bed is very comfy.
