Far from the city.
This hotel is super duper dated! The bathroom had traces of mould and smells like smoke. Super duper old. The sheets were clean. A cab from there to the city is about 200 which is about $35 usd. The staff very friendly but again couldn’t get past how dirty the hallways were and how dated it is. Breakfast buffet was good.

Convenient hotel near Foreigner Street and Honqiao
It's a basic hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are not at all frilly but comfortable and clean. You can get a good nights rest.

Everyone are friendly and they will help you when both of you do not understand each other. It is a wonderful experience and comfort by staying there. I would love to stay again.

Not worth the price paid. The room was quite run down. For example, the wall paper in the room is dirtied and popped out.

Don't stay at this Hotel!
Save yourself some trouble by using the big name chain instead! At the most, this would be a 2.5 Star Hotel. I am serious!

room looks tired no maintainence, no gym or spa
Fraud advertising. There was no gym nor spa. Went looking fr the gym and then got told rudely theres no gym.contacted the receptionist, she said gym n spa was operated by different company and was closed. Why would you still advertise on hotel booking website if you dont have it??? Real fraud here!

a small step up for a local chinese hotel
good area with restaurants and shops great indian restaurant about a 15 minute walk dirty walls and furniture in the small room, bed was OK otherwise about a 3 star for chinese hotel

It's a hotel
Peeling wall paper and door handles that are barely held on... It's has a bed, but not much else to say. Staff is fairly friendly though. Also the construction noise is a little annoying.

Cheap, clean and seedy
Functional cheap hotel in an awkward ( in many ways) location. Difficult to find from subway via taxi and too far from subway on foot. Area around hotel contains a lot of massage parlours . Cards with scantily clad girls and contact numbers were pushed under the room door overnight.

great stay , value , location . great neighborhood . restaurants , coffe houses , stores . everything within a block away . hotel staff excellent . attentive and helpful . close to hongqiao airport . great deal for a traveler that arrives at this airport . manager helpful and made the stay wonderful

NOT a good night's sleep!
The room has 2 air conditioners, but neither one worked. The fans would run, but the air outside was cooler. Unfortunately, the street noise was maddening. Either way, windows closed or open, it was impossible to sleep. The breakfast was mediocre, but the noise of Chinese cartoons blaring from the television did not make for a peaceful experience. I finally turned off the TV myself. When one of the hostesses noticed it was off, she came and turned it back on, to which I replied in an aggressive voice, "Bu yao! Bu yao!" She was obviously offended, but did turn it off again.

Good hotel and service, accomodating and friendly housekeeping (always made sure i had enough water!). Problem is the bed is too hard. I didnt eat the food there (I prefer street food). Internet sometimes unreliable, Overall I recommend this hotel because it is very good value. It is in a good location if you want a mix of western and local influence. Only 10 minute walk from Laoweijie and the Pearl Market, but a 1 minute walk to good local street food and shops

Good but also Bad.
This is Rahul From Mumbai who visited this hotel in Feb 2014. The hotel is ok for business who do not want to stay in the hotel less than sleeping. The problem is English , location, surronding, cleanliness, internet, and may be some many. But the only good thing is its near to indian restaurants for about 20min walking. So any indian booking who is a veg is good for him. Else I feel the hotel is OK OK. Rest you can view other people's views too. Thanks!

Close to downtown, but not 4 stars hotel
First two days no air condition in the room, it was very cool in the evening. Room is dirty, bed sheet with a couple marks of blood. Bathroom shower is dirty too! Stuff are nice.

pros: The executive room was big and cheap. The hotel is only 20 min walk or 5 min taxi ride from Laowai Jie (an alley with 20-25 really good foreign restaurants). the network cable in the room was relatively fast. cons: The bed was advertised as a king, but was actually a queen. More importantly, it was too hard and the pillows were too soft and thin. Wifi was supposed to be included, but we had to go into the hallway to pick it up. Like most Chinese owned hotels, this one allows smoking on all floors.

GREAT but HOT!
This hotel was affordable, very clean and very comfortable with one exception--the air conditioning! It was stifling hot in our room all night, and nothing the hotel did improved the situation. I'd recommend it highly, but not in the summer.

Your star rating for this hotel is 4. It's definitely a 2-3. The bed was hard, you can feel the springs. The towels were not clean looking and torn. The floors were not vacuum clean. For the price, it's still a deal. Just give it a proper rating of 3 so people will not be too disappointed.

Worth your buck
Easy to find location, not the best surroundings but close to Bank of China and Bank of Shanghai. The room I had was not very clean, carpets were stained, chipped paint in some areas but the bed and bathroom were very well maintained. The desk space was too small, but the quality in service made up for everything else. Not smiley friendly but quick and efficient. Breakfast was international, felt out of place. Lots of western food not so well prepared and some alright Chinese food. Overall I wish I would have chose a better place, but seeing how I paid a fair price I got what I paid for.

Hotel was billed as 4 star but was not close to a 4 star. Room was very small and the bathroom was so small it was hard to close the door without getting into the bathtub. In December it was very cold and there was no heat until 8 pm. It was very cold, I had to ask for a space heater to get the room warm enough to shower.

まず全体的に廃ホテルのよう ホテル内のカーペットはなんか薄汚い 案内された部屋のある3階には企業事務所が入っており落ち着かない また同じく3階にはエロマッサージがある。部屋にあるマッサージを呼ぶとここからくる。一番安いコースでも440元くらいで上は800元とか。普通のマッサージではないことは明らか。 部屋はよくある中国のホテル。 掃除のおばさんは呼び鈴を鳴らさず入ってくる。部屋に人がいる場合、必ず呼び鈴を押して中の客側がドアを開けるのがマナーだが、呼び鈴押さず、ノックだけでこちらが開ける前に勝ってに開けて入ってくる。 ホテルの立地は9号線地下鉄駅まで徒歩20分。 老外街まで徒歩20分 立地は車がないと不便この上ない。 泊まる価値なし

周辺はゴチャゴチャして、汚い所です。
交通は便利では無いです。 地下鉄9号線まで15分位ですが、途中の道がガタガタで、大きなスーツケースを持っていると苦労します。 近くにコンビニはあまりありません。 ホテル内のレストランは日本料理店1軒のみで朝食はやっていませんでした。 近所に果物屋はあるのでバナナを買って朝食にしました。 ホテル内のマッサージを頼んだら、途中からエッチなサービスの売り込みでコトワルノニとても苦労しました。

日本人が多く住む古北に近い。
バス付をリクエストしたがシャワーしかなく、排水が悪くシャワー室の外に水が流れ出していた。 部屋の掃除はけしてきれいではなかった。 現在リニューアル中で埃がすごかった。

アクセスが悪いが綺麗で対応も良い
公共交通機関へのアクセスが悪いため、朝のラッシュ時の移動が大変です。タクシーも捕まりません。 従業員の対応は良く、客室も綺麗です。 バスタブは有りません。
