“Want to go back”
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Great service, courteous staff, great stay.
“Iron Horse, a great find”
Very clean, brand new, boutique. Staff extremely friendly and anxious to share information about their hotel and their city. Restaurant not yet open, although bar has food. Near downtown Milwaukee. Would go again in a heart beat, and we don't even ride bikes!
“Perhaps the best hotel ever”
The Iron Horse is the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. Every detail of the hotel is perfect. I was there for one night for business, but I now look forward to coming back, and would like to stay for a longer time. Every single person employed here is friendly, knowledgable, and willing to go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The rooms are decorated and laid out perfectly, and the lobby and bar are truly spectacular. You will not be disappointed by staying in this hotel. On the contrary, you will have a wonderful stay.
“ironhorse - comfortable, relaxing and welcoming”
As we travel to Mke regularly, we make it a point to stay at the Iron Horse. It is a great small hotel in an unusual part of town. The rooms are large, clean and well thought out & the hotel is a completely remodeled former mattress warehouse. This is a hotel that conceptually could be in NYC SOHO or San Fran (but could never be as spacious or as comfortable if it were in either of those cities). It is dog & Harley friendly and also has a top tier gourmet restaurant on the main floor. An unusual combination, but it really works! Staying there is simply a relaxing and welcoming experience.
“Little Gem”
We were impressed with the hotel, from decor to food. The staff was great, the room was lovely, and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.
“Fabulous and friendly”
Fabulous friendly service. Clean rooms and facilities.
“Great New Hotel in Milwaukee!”
I would highly recommend staying at the Iron Horse for either business or leisure (adults only). The hotel and staff are top notch and unique. Don't be put off by the motorcycle theme - they're not going after the hardcore bike enthusiast.
“best hotel to see h-d museum”
location is great brewers stat./miller factory/h-d museum
“coolest hotel”
Iron Horse is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The loft feel was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and everything was clean. I would definitely stay there again.
“Upscale Hip Hotel”
Upon arriving at the Iron Horse we were treated to a tropical drink. The lobby is fun and well appointed with leather furniture. Unlike some hotel bars this bar was jumping on this Friday evening, it put you in the vacation mood right away. The rooms are large and very clean. The bathrooms have some local Kohler bath fixtures with a rain like shower head coming from the ceiling. In the evening the room was very quite -- no hearing your neighbors here. We brought our kids with us which worked out fine for us. There is no pool which was a bit of a bummer for them however Milwaukee has lots to offer so they were tired once we got back to the room. The neighborhood does not have lots to offer however there are plenty of great Mexican places that you can walk to and the Great Lake Distillery a few blocks. Make sure to go to the tour at the Distillery which ends with so great samples. Everything else in town is an easy drive. We really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the hotel.
