First of all, this is the type of place I never would of thought we could afford. It is ornate, beautiful, elegant, etc. It is historic without being "old". We stayed in the newer Grand Tower so didn't get a chance to see the rooms in the traditional Pfister but we did walk the halls. I recommend you walk the halls of the hotel and you will feel like you are in an art museum! The art that lines the halls and walls is stunning. We had a good time just looking around.
We stayed in a double queen room which was spacious enough for 3 people. Nice accommodations, check out the hotel's pictures and you won't be disappointed.
Parking in the hotel is spendy at $30 a day but it is in and out. You can park on the street for a few hours during the day but overnight we parked in a parking garage kiddy corner from the hotel for $15 a night.
The pool is nice if not a tad bit chilly.
