“Recomended”
Great location and most convenient. Great service.
“Best Sheraton I've ever stayed at”
We stayed on a Saturday night so the price was right--in addition to being convenient and very nice!
“Very convenient to airport”
Very reasonably priced modern airport hotel.
“Good place to stay.”
Great having the hotel 'in' the terminal; makes ease of getting one's plane so much easier. And it is well run and taken care of.Never mind that one could land a small aircraft in the hall ways--it is a very nice hotel.
“Excellent "in-transit"”
The Sheraton located at Malpensa is a beautfful, minimalist style hotel. The hotel is very low and long, evidently to compliment the architecture of the airport & it therefore can be quite a walk to reach your room. During our stay all services were professional and complimented the elegance of the hotel with one significant exception. The exception was our experience in the hotel dining room where the staff seemed overwhelmed by what appeared to be a normal dinner crowd; some of the food was tasteless and some was served cold, either of which is not consistent with the airport or the prices charged at the restaurant.
“Great for Arriving or Departing from Malpensa...”
Great location for anyone arriving or departing from Malpensa. Our room was clean and my wife fell in love with the bathroom. Signage would have been a little better in the Airport, but, if you head for the trains to downtown Milan the hotel entrance is right across from the train ticket counters.. We'll use this hotel again on our next visit to Milan.
“Correcte”
serveuse un peu débordé au Bar, restaurent froid, trop de volume pas assez de chauffage, pas très chaleureux.
“10 minute walk to our checkin”
With a 6:45 flight out of MXP, staying in Milan overnight just didn't make sense. If we were going to stay near the airport, we might as well stay as close as possible, and the Sheraton is in the airport -- only a few feet from the Malpensa Express station, and a ten minute walk from our checkin counter. (We scouted it out before we went to bed, to avoid confusion in the morning.) The room -- and the whole hotel -- were sterile but comfortable. We scarcely used it (checked in ~ 10:30 p.m., left at 5:30), but we had no complaints. Not cheap, but not ridiculously expensive. If you have an early morning flight out of MXP, I can't see staying anywhere else.
“Extremely comfortable bed. Best choice for early flights.”
Very accommodating desk staff. Huge new hotel. Downside--room was located about a quarter mile from the elevator and no one was available to help with our luggage at check-in. Restaurant very expensive and after 9:30 p.m. there were no other food options except the smallest snack bar in the airport. Even McDonalds was closed. But for proximity to the airport, cleanliness of the room, comfortable bed, and courteous staff this place is a winner. NOTE: Breakfast at the hotel also very expensive. CNN was in English!!
“Plaza Mestre”
Pros: Location next to Mestre Rail station - 10 minutes to Venice on train at 1euro 20c a ride, quietly efficient friendly staff, nice linens, comfortable beds, good breakfast, next to airport bus express - 5 euros, and good value hotel rate. The town/city of Mestre has a good shopping area, 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes bus ride from the hotel. No Cons about the hotel, but it would be preferable to stay in Venice for the convenience of resting between the sightseeing visits and walks if money was no object.
