“Excellent hôtel”

L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier un peu excentré. Il offre la possibilité de mettre la voiture dans un garage. Il n'y avait pas de possibilité de prendre ses repas quand nous y étions.

“Reasonable price & convenience”

Short tram ride to the town center (Duomo) & metro. A short cab ride to 2 other train stations (Centrale & Malpensa) and a short walk to Pt. Garabaldi station. We found it reasonably priced and accessable to the local sights.

“Ideally located and very helpful”

Stayed for 5 nights, hotel is in a good location with excellent public transport links right outside, 5 mins walk to train station, cheap and cheerful pizzeria right round the corner and some nicer osteria type restaurants about 10 mins away by taxi. Concierge very helpful, would defo recommend

“Good hotel”

The hotel is located near to Garibaldi station - walking from the subway takes around 5 minutes, and a tram to central Milan stops just outside. Checkin staff were helpful, and spoke good English. The room was smaller than most Holiday Inns I have stayed in, but was clean and comfortable.

“Fair”

The hotel clerk was not very friendly, but was efficient in her own way. One day we arrived in our room and there was a piece of clothing on the floor (which was on the bed before we left). Some hotel staff communicate with walkie talkies in the corridor, what can be noisy and disturbing. Other than that, it was ok. Close to the station and reliable.

“Satisfactory Experience”

We stayed at the Holiday In Garibaldi for one night only before Easter and the overall experience was satisfactory. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the location pretty central. Service was average.

“Perfect for a short trip”

Fairly easy to get to only 2 stops from Central Station, then at Garibaldi head for platform 20 for the exit onto road. Turn left and follow the railway to the next main road to find the hotel. The area is a bit scruffy, but it was quiet and we had no problems. There is a tram that runs in front of the hotel which might disturb sleep if you are a light sleeper. It is easy to get around and doesn't take long to get to the main sights in Milan. Excellent cafe, left up the road as you come out of the hotel.

“it does what it says on the tin”

This hotel gives you a comfortable clean place to stay and was a good bargain on the deal we got, but is totally boring and out of the more atmospheric area of the old time - though it does only take 10-15 mins to get to the Brera on the tram. you pays your money. . .
