Grand Hotel Et De Milan offers a prime location in the center of the city, at the intersection of Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. La Scala is a five-minute walk. Businesses, fashion houses, and historic sites are also within easy reach.
The hotel has hosted numerous VIPs over the years, including Giuseppe Verdi, Enrico Caruso, Maria Callas, and other luminaries from the opera world. The Don Carlos fine-dining restaurant is named after the Verdi opera. The Caruso restaurant offers a more casual ambience. Both provide outdoor seating during the warmer months.
In the modern fitness center, floor-to-ceiling windows face the courtyard and admit abundant natural light.

The 95 individually decorated guestrooms and suites feature balconies, period furnishings, parquet floors, Oriental rugs, and marble bathrooms. Wireless Internet access is available. TVs come with cable channels and pay movies. Other amenities include in-room safes, minibars, bathrobes, air conditioning, and turndown service. Cribs (infant beds) are available.

Dining
Don Carlos - Italian cuisine in an intimate setting. Antique silver chandelier. Walls decorated with paintings, prints, photographs, and posters from La Scala Theatre Museum. Wine list with more than 200 labels. Wine cellar includes remnants of a Roman Empire wall dating from AD 250. Dinner served until late. Outdoor seating in warm weather.
Caruso - Milanese cuisine with a contemporary flair. Alfresco veranda overlooking Piazza Croce Rossa. Open throughout the year.
Gerry's Bar - Lunch, afternoon tea, aperitifs, cocktails. Open till late.
Room service is available 24 hours a day.

“First class”
A very comfortable hotel with friendly staff, ideally placed for a visit to La Scala. Our bedroom and bathroom were attractively decorated and well laid out. Pleasant and comfortable communal areas, with bar serving coffee and drinks throughout the day. Fine food and friendly service at the Don Carlos restaurant. I will certainly stay there again if I return to Milan.
“Location, Location”
Everything about this Hotel was fantastic. I am not a shopper, but we were literally steps away from the best store in Milan. It's location near the Duomo, and centro were great. We drove during our time in Milan, so the on site valet was key as well.

“High class hotel in a great location”
We simply loved this hotel. We were treated very well and enjoyed a high class room that was considered the "Callas suite" after the well known opera star. You can't beat the location if fashion shopping is one of your interests.
“five star hotel”
This hotel was expensive but a good value for the money spent. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was also expensive but the food was extremely good. I thought the breakfast offering was VERY overpriced and did not try it. They area around the hotel is mostly concerned with shopping and not many other facilities are available, however it is right next to a subway stop for convenient travel to anywhere else.

Fantastic location down the street from La Scala and the Duomo. Across the street from designer retail stores. Just a beautiful hotel.
“Impressed”
The hotel and it's people are excellent. The room was large, well appointed and clean. Outstanding customer service from the bellmen,doorman,front desk and concierge. I've stayed in many hotel and this is amoung the finest. I will definitally stay here again. Buffet Break was expensive.Recommend you look for a quaint outdoor cafe.
“A good hotel to stay at the city center.”
A good hotel to stay at the city center. The parking is somewhere far away and expensive 45 Euro/day. The inside the hotel building is very good. Visit the Don Carlos restaurant. The breakfast is expensive 45 Euro/person.
“Great location but not top drawer service”
Great location near La Scala, Galleria and Haute Coutre shopiing area. Public areas are spacious and very comforatable. Room service was excellent and furnishings of the room including linens etc were first class. The only issue that we had with this hotel was the attitude of the service staff in the breakfast room and the front desk. They were adequate but did not go out of their way to be courteous and provide that special attention. Having said this, would go back as the location cannot be improved. Used their garage service and my car was always available at front door when requested. Did not use concierge services.
