“OK for a short stay”

The interior of the hotel is clean, welcoming and bright. The exterior leaves a lot to be desired. Don't be put off by your initial impression as you drive on to the hotel site. The management would be well advised to take better care of the grounds and to replace the very worn flags at the entrance. That being said, the service was excellent, the food very good with an extensive breakfast. Perfect in location re: Linate Airport with shuttle service offered--although only every half hour. We stayed here as we had an early flight out of Linate the following morning. I would recommend this hotel for that type of stay. I did notice business groups meeting there. There is a computer and printer that facilitates printing boarding passes.

“Great Travel Hotel”

Air Hotel is a great place to stay when travelling into or out of Linate Airport. The food is decent and the hotel is clean and friendly. There is a free shuttle to the airport. We stayed there just one night before travelling out of Milan.

“Who said airport hotels were bad....”

The hotel included breakfast and free parking. There was a free shuttle to the airport where you could catch a public bus to downtown Milan. Very convenient as parking is hard to come by in Milan. Very reasonable price, too.

“Almost perfect --- bad insulation!”

Overall, very positive. We walked from the airport to the hotel --- it's a 5-6 minute walk, if you know how to get there. Very friendly staff. The room was nothing special, but clean and totally adequate for our one night stay. The restaurant looked OK, but we decided to try a trattoria we found on our way --- I'm glad we did; simple, honest food, at very decent prices. If you're staying at the hotel, simply walk until you find the first traffic light --- it's right there in the corner. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was that the rooms are not well-insulated. They seem well-insulated to outside noise (we were not bothered by planes taking off or landing), but the walls separating the rooms seem to be very, very thin. This is why I gave a score of 2 in "Comfort of your room". Hearing so clearly the conversation from people in another room is something I deeply dislike in a hotel. If the rooms had better insulation, I would have given it a perfect score.

“Close to Linate Airport”

The hotel was extremely close to the airport and we chose it for that reason. The phone number was not correct or not working, but the airport staff was nice enough to give us the phone number. The hotel picked us up from the airport and took us back earlier than the original listed shuttle times, which we appreciated. They even had breakfast out and ready. Very nice to stay if needing a short trip to the Linate Airport.

“Airport convenience”

Good hotel for the money if you just need a stopover near the airport. Not exacly easy to get to, but quiet and restful once I was there. For travelers needing rest after a flight this hotel was perfect - complete black-out shades were provided. It is quite a distance from the city, so not a great choice if you want to experience downtown Milano.

“Perfect spot for staying near Linate airport”

The hotel is a perfect layover spot when traveling out of Linate early in the morning. The airport shuttle takes some grief out of your way. They drop you off right at the departures area. The breakfast was great. The room was very quiet. All in all, it was a good value and very convenient.

“Convenient location and great service”

The hotel is very close to the airport, and shuttle service was prompt and speedy. Although the full breakfast started early, on our morning of departure,we had to leave for the airport before the breakfast service - but there was a continental breakfast available. The only problems we encountered were that the room temperature was high - in October the central air conditioning was shut off, and we needed to open the windows to cool the room off; and the TV tuner didn't work at first, but was promptly repaired (in minutes). Guest services were excellent, and we would stay there again. The hotel has an agreement with a nearby spa treatment centre for use of the pool and other facilities. Call in advance to find out what's available. It is a medical treatment facility, not really recreational.
