"Nice and clean. Very beautiful facility"
My husband and I came from Connecticut to stay in the Roosevelt hotel to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The staff was awesome. Wendy from the front desk made our anniversary, by going up and beyond to find us a special room. We loved our room and we had an amazing stay

"Wonderful new hotel"
We stayed at Affinia 50 with two childeren (age 7 and 10) for four nights, and have nothing but best to say about the hotel. The staff are super friendly, the hotel is recently refurbished and everything looks new and the location is excellent for exploring NY.

"Welcoming hotel in a great, central location"
My girlfriend and I recently got back from a 5 night stay at Hotel Chandler and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel felt modern and clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It had a nice, authentic art deco style to it too. Our room was great and of an average size. It was furnished very well, including an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, umbrella etc. Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom were a big plus! We were on the second floor and had a view of a fire escape – and it was impossible to know what the weather was like outside without actually going out the entrance and checking! This wasn't really a big problem though and the potential lack of a view shouldn't put you off. There's a big selection of channels on the TV (HBO etc) and complimentary tea/coffee in the hotel lobby 24hrs of the day (there's no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there's cardboard cups downstairs to take your drink with you). The hotel was in the perfect location – close to many subway stations and a short walk from Washington Square Park (which is a nice place to sit and eat breakfast!). If you're coming to New York and this hotel is on your shortlist just book it, you won't regret it!

Hotel Boutique at Grand Central

"The PERFECT hotel for us!"
We feel like we lucked out in booking Hotel Boutique/Club Quarters. First, the location is perfect, a couple blocks from Grand Central, which made it easy to get around the city using the subway. The building is very new, I believe the hotel just opened about a year ago, so the facilities are brand new, clean, and well-working. The biggest problem a lot of New York hotels face is a slow elevator, but this was not at all a problem as the elevators were VERY fast. Our room was just what we needed, great view, comfy bed, just enough space (if you need a palatial hotel room to visit New York then you are not doing it right), and very good maintainence and cleaning by the housekeeping staff. Anytime we required something it was provided for us (minifridge and microwave in our room, extra coffee, towels, etc). Be sure to check out the terrace and lounge on the 27th floor too! The views are incredible as stunning buildings like the Chrysler building, Helmsley building and General Electric building are just blocks away. We made use of the terrace almost every day, it's great because you can bring your food and drinks up there too and have access to it 24/7. Plus, there is free computer access and a free coffee machine up there. The free Wifi was very fast throughout the hotel, we never had an issue anywhere with it, and it felt like a great bonus because a lot of NY hotels charge per day. Will definitely stay here again!

Midtown East - Grand Central Hotels Guide

There are some train stations you visit to go somewhere else, and there are some train stations you visit to purposely linger. Grand Central Station in New York proudly falls into the latter category. While it’s certainly used for transportation from A to B, the sheer history and prestige of the building has turned the station into a site of its own. Since it opened its doors in 1871, Grand Central Station (formally called Grand Central Terminal) has been a world wonder. It’s still one of the most visited attractions in New York. As you walk through the building and admire the high ceilings and famous hanging American flag, it’s easy to feel the sense of hopeful Americana the station represents.
