“Best Hotel in South Beach”
I've stayed at many hotels in South Beach and teh Whitelaw is the best deal that you will find. Small, quaint with excellent service and unbeatable location. The non-pretencious staff is a fresh breath of air and the added perks a plus
“Great Experience!! A+++ - However, Beware of Deposit & Parking!!”
Our stay at the Whitelaw Hotel was the highlight of our 2 week road trip. It was everything that I expected. It was in the middle of S. Beach and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, very Miami style! The hotel was a bit small but you have to expect that at any hotel in Miami, space is limited, but it's very updated and contemporary. This hotel was in the middle of the "hub bub" of Miami beach. It was literally a block or 2 away from the Dash store as well. The staff were not immensely friendly and helpful but I think the hotel location and atmosphere more than made up for that. I would highly recommend this hotel to a person that wants to get the real feel for Miami. It's certainly not a family vacation spot. It's full of young singles & couples. My only complaint was that we never saw anything about the deposit until we arrived. We had budgeted very tightly for vacation so it was a little frustrating. We were aware that valet parking was an additional charge and a resort fee was also added. So just be aware that the price you book here or anywhere... their are some additional fees to add on. Even so, we did get the room at a pretty decent price. Especially considering the location! Oh and one last thing... you can pay valet to park your car (slightly more pricey) and you can take it in and out as much as you please. If you use the car lot down the street... you have to pay every time you take it out of the garage!
“Funky and Fun Hotel!”
The staff is very attentive and you feel like you are a friend the moment you step into the lobby. The funky design and colors are really fun and bright and get you in an upbeat mood in a strange way. The bathroom is a bit small but cute and clean. The huge tv and iPod docking station were a nice surprise. Also teh free drinks every night! This is not a place for boring cookie cutter people.

I was in Miami on a business trip and decided to stay at the whitelaw. I've never been there but based on the reviews, pictures and amenities, I thought it was a very good deal. I expressed interest in having a room on the top floor, away from any noise and the concierge gladly obliged. I also requested a double bed room because I heard its larger than the king size bed room. Overall i was thrilled, I loved the decor, the mirrored tables, the large white tufted headboards, the beautiful crystal chandelier, the stark white sheets, the white floor and the pink walls. Not to mention the 42" flat screen tv. The bed was very comfy. Only complaint is that I still heard the muffled sounds of music coming from the bar but I'm from nyc so I'm used to noise. The hallways were lit dimly but I didn't care. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall great hotel and experience. Location is unbeatable, nice decor and service above average. Great extras like happy hour and airport transportation. I recomend this hotel.
“Cute for couples”
I just got engaged at the Whitelaw!!!!!! I recommend this hotel for young couples who want to get away for some one on one. Good service, great cozy decor, amazing beds, great showers. Happy hour is perfect for before going out.We loved it and of course will never forget it.

Spent 5 days at the hotel with my buddies and had a great time. Best part was the free happy hour and fun bartenders. Decor is a bit too pink but chicks love it. Location was perfect. close to beach and best night spots.

Perfect location close to all restaurants and clubs. Hotel has stylish edgy decor and is clean and comfortable. staff were helpfull. Nice extra perks like passes to Nikki Beach Club and free drinks daily. We had a problem with the airport shuttle but it was gracefully resolved by managemnet.
“Very nice beds and good service”
I picked this hotel after reviewing the mostly positive reviews here and was very satisfied. Hotel offers good amenieties and unbeatable location.My room was equipped with huge plasma, stereo with ipod docking station and a very very comfortable bed. Front desk and bar staff were friendly and ready to help. Overall, a good stay. I recommend it.
