Set on a quiet stretch of James Avenue, this all-suite Art Deco style hotel offers guests a peaceful getaway from the energy of the cafes, bars, and nightspots of surrounding South Beach. The hotel offers a bamboo garden courtyard and a rooftop outdoor pool with sun loungers/chaise longues, and lounge.
The Sanctuary South Beach also offers a full-service health spa and salon, the Sanctuary Salon & Spa. The hotel can custom-stock preferred food and beverages. The on-site Ola Restaurant serves Nuevo Latino cuisine. With round-the-clock concierge, valet, and room service, hotel staff will arrange anything from a personal trainer to a chartered yacht or private jet.

This two-story hotel has 27 suites. All Sanctuary suites include a garden terrace, kitchenette, 42-inch plasma-screen television, 24-inch LCD television, and minibar. Suites also include complimentary wireless Internet access. Egyptian cotton bedding, bathrobes and linens are provided. Bathrooms feature sunken tubs with rainhead showers.

“Everytime from now on.”
This is the best experience I've had with a hotel in south beach. The staff was amazing including those that checked us in. There was a bartender there that was also very friendly. The room was great. The only issue i had was that we couldn't find the remote for the 42" flat panel tv. But i wasn't there to watch tv anyway. There's was also some excess dust on some surfaces. The place was well worth it though.
“Great Little Hotel”
This is a great little hotel. Very clean, well cared for and the staff is very nice. The location is walking distance to the beach and the main drag in South Beach, but far enough away that you don't hear the noise of the clubs. Parking is a bit of a hassle (waiting for them to retrieve your car), but that seems to the same thing with most of the smaller hotels in South Beach that have offsite parking.

WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH OUR STAY AT THE SANCTUARY SOUTH BEACH. EXCELLENT HOTEL SERVICE. BEAUTIFUL ROOMS WITH SUPER COMFORTABLE BEDS. ALSO NOT TO MENTION THE BEAUTIFUL 20 PERSON SPA ON THE ROOF. WE WILL DEFFINITLY BE CHECKING BACK IN THE SANTUARY SOON :)
“upscale, not uptight”
The description of hotel amenities may not be completely accurate (sauna?), but we were so happy with our stay there we didn't care. All the staff were very friendly and attentive from the front desk to housekeeping. Our room was very comfortable - nice bar,TVs,rain-shower. Hotel premises were well maintained and relaxing; nicely stocked continental breakfast. great room service.

“"Sanctuary" is EXACTLY that...”
We were a little hesitant about making a reservation at this hotel because of some of the other reviews, but we were very pleasantly surprised. We had a wonderful time at the Sanctuary . Our room was beautiful and it looked like it had just been renovated! The bamboo trees on the hallway was a very nice touch, along with the upgrade from the General Manager on our first day. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel were very accommodating and we felt like they genuinely cared about the quality of our stay. There was one staff member in particular who helped to make our stay extra memorable. We've stayed in many boutique hotels over the years now and the service in general is very good, but the service at this location was outstanding! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay.
“YOU MUST STAY HERE!!!”
My first and hopefully future trips to South Beach Hotel stays has and will be covered by the Sanctuary Hotel. This place is so chic and the location was perfect to shops, eateries and the beach. We did not rent a car there was no need; the location was awsome. The hotel rooms, the spa, the restaraunt, the staff...all great! We visited hotels nearby and realized, they were not the "bang for your buck" we got. I can't wait to return.
“Great SoBe Hotel”
I loved this hotel. Great location - 2 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from Lincoln Mall, 2 blocks from CVS, Walgreens, and a pizza place. The hotel staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Rooms are beautiful.
“Perfect Location”
This hotel was the best place we stayed on our vacation. The only complaint I would have is the pool is very small and shallow and the ice machine has to be access though a smelly hallway and is outside. The staff was amazing and the continental breakfast that included was always fresh and delicious. The rooms we huge and very clean.
“Helpful Staff”
The staff was very helpful for our entire stay. The hotel extremely convenient to all points in South Beach. We had a great time.
