“Nothing fancy but quite nice”
This is a very nice hotel and it is run in a highly professional manner. The rooms are nothing special but they are nice enough and the hot water is there all the time. The pool is clean the location fine and you can skip the free breakfast.
“Great Hotel, Great Location”
before my trip i was quiet scared, cause of all the negative reviews about this hotel, but after being there for 10 days ive got no complaints after all... if ur a family then maybe its the wrong place to stay, coz its full of young people... its a 2 star hotel so dont expect luxury... other than that....im already planing my next trip and im staying at the continental for sure.... great hotel... everyone is friendly and really helpful, as long as you dont act like a snob!!!! c u next year papi!!!!
“Very Happy”
I booked this hotel for my mom and my daughter, close to the beach and nice pool. She said the staff was very polite and friendly. She loved and...she would defn use this hotel again.

you get what you pay for definitely, although there isnt a lobby bar anymore and the diner closed they made up for that with room service availability and 24 hour pool access! i had a great time last year when i stood there as well as this year. very satisfied
“Superb location - comfortable rooms”
We stayed in a sea front room during three weeks. Premises have been refurbished since our previous stay a few years ago. Room had enough space y was very comfortable. The location is perhaps the best in Miami Beach, very close to South Beach but not in middle of the crowd. We are an elderly couple and like to spend from time to time some vacation weeks in Miami Beach and this hotel is the perfect choice for us.
“good for the price”
If your looking for a hotel just to sleep and shower and hit south beach then its perfect. room was clean and decent. It was pretty difficult to get any extra towels and harder to get for the pool. the desk tells you they are outside but the entire 4 days we were there, there was none... easy enough to go buy a beach towel and not get stressed. one of the elevators was out of service entire time, but just used the pool elevator and had no problems. would definately stay there again and save the money to spend in south beach instead of a room your hardly in..

I went to Miami, FL for my birthday and found the Continental to be conveniently located on Collins Ave. My friend and I were fairly suprised about how nice the hotel was because of the great deal we got on it, but I would definitely recommend it for other travelers and would stay there again.
“Great location!!!”
If you are about the location ... this hotel is definetely for you!!! It has beach access walking distance to restaurant and clubs. Free wi fi in the lobby. The furniture is out dated and the beds are not as comfortable. However, if you are about comfort the hotel right next door is more comfortable but be ready to pay 2 to 3 times more per night. I would definitely go back!!!

Hotel has a nice view of the beach. Very nice lounge area. Hotel staff was very pleasent. What more can you ask for. I will return again.

Unless you want to get charged for every service you want, this hotel is good overall. Service was quick and easy and the employees were nice and generous.
