“amazing location...”

The hotel location is excellent, the staffs are very helpful and the room good... They could have a better breakfast..... unfortunately a very serious indeed happened at check in..... they handed me a key of a room occupied... when I opened the door the other guest host started to scream to her husband who was at the restroom..... I would be funny but in my point of view it was a unpleasant fact...

“Marvelous gem in South Beach”

Was extremely pleased with the service, the check-in, the cleanliness of the room, the convenience directly across the park from South Beach. Had previously stayed at a nearby hotel with a similar front, and was expecting a similar experience. But this far surpassed the neighboring hotel. The staff went out of their way to accommodate. When I asked at the front desk for directions to the ice machine, not only did they direct me, but they offered to get the ice for me and bring it to the room. The breakfast that was included was excellent. More than just a continental breakfast, we were able to order right from the menu!

“Very good but not quite excellent.”

Was a last minute booking as my other accommodation was atrocious so can't be too fussy. Rooms here are fine & service ok. Only two concerns are room is poorly sound-proofed, can hear outside music & adjacent room noise! Also a bit of a walk for good food at the Lincoln Mall.

“Great Location!!”

The Beacon exceeded my expectations. The staff was courteous and very informative. The decor was beautiful!!! The room was somewhat on the small side but you dont need much if you plan on hitting the streets =) The location.... Excellent!!! Right across the street from the beach and there are tons of bars and restaurants to choose from. The only thing I would change about the Beacon is they do not offer ocean-front views for double beds. Other than that our stay was perfect!!! I would definitely recommend The Beacon to family & friends and will return on my next trip to MIA!!!!

“Will go back for sure”

The hotel is in a perfect location , The food there is expensive but good. The rooms are very comfortable and clean but small. Just enough space for a couple not kids. The gym is very small but the plus is the computer room where you have privace and can get work done if needed.The staff is very helpful and plesant. My friends had a room at the MONDRIAN which is a $5 cab ride from the strip and a 10 min walk away but its a way better stay and cheaper. It has a pool and bar downsatirs.. The rooms each have a living room with a pull out coutch,hot plate , refrigerator and dining room...THat where I will stay everytime I go back..but if you need to stay on the strip pick the BEACON...!

“Good place to stay”

The location was great - you could walk to the beach, rent bikes, play volleyball, and the sidewalks were crowded with people and music. It was a nice room too. Polite staff. I felt welcome. The negatives were a small elevator and bad food at the hotels' restaurant. Not a deal breaker because you just walk up the street to a another place - it takes only minutes.
