“Love Love Loved It! stayed 8/25-8/28/08”

When I read all of the other reviews I was excited about arriving at the hotel. As soon as I arrived, I was in heaven. The room was neat, clean and soothing. A few little perks like: a bag for the beach including towels & water, turn down bed service with little chocolates & the next day weather forcast were delightful. I can't wait to come back!

“Wonderful”

Never having been to Miami and not knowing the areas, I was really worried about booking a hotel that wasn't "brand name". However, due to the reasonable price and the pictures online, I booked a room at The Angler's. We were SO IMPRESSED when we checked in. Someone met us at our car and took our bags to our room while we checked in...then when we got to our room...WOW! It turns out that all of their rooms are actually suites with couches, chairs, a mini-bar, etc. It is a very modern place and has been recently renovated (even though it still looks very "art deco" on the outside). The staff was wonderful, the room was beautiful, the food was good, and the location was perfect. I would DEFINATELY recommend The Angler's to anyone looking for a great place to stay on South Beach!

“I LOVED THE ANGLERS!!!”

This was my first trip to Miami Beach and the hotel made my stay terrific. This hotel was very luxurious and costly but was well worth it for my boyfriend's birthday. The staff was very attentive and polite. If you enjoy the nightlife then this hotel's location is the spot. Everything is within walking distance...too bad I rented a car though. My boyfriend and I loved the surround sound system in room plus the beautiful bed that felt like heaven. Although I won't be staying at Anglers on my next trip in August 2008, I will surely pass by just to see what I am missing...(LOL!)

“The Best Hotel in South Beach”

This hotel was great the best i have been to in a long time. The services was just the best, they treated me like a king. The rooms were great everything about the hotel was wonderful. You can not go wrong with this hotel. From the time i arrived i was in heaven.

“Perfect stay at the Angler's”

My girlfriend and I just spent 3 nights at the Angler's and don't have a negative thing to say about the hotel. The location is perfect, the room was great and we received outstanding service from the moment we arrived. The pool is fine but very small and quiet so not the right choice if you are looking for a "pool scene". Overall, our experience at the Angler's was excellent and we would recommend the hotel to anyone heading to South Beach.

“exceeded expectations!!”

My fiance and I went on vacation in miami for a week and made reservations for the weekend at the hotel.When we drove up to the hotel we very excited just from the outside elegance. The room was amazing the decor is clean cut and comfortable. There was a sitting area n a desk. A huge flat screen TV mounted on the wall that moved. We had 2 balconys that over looked the pool & cabbanas. Tons of closets, king bed very comfortable, bathroom prestine, staff very polite & helpful...We will def stay there next year!

“Hidden gem”

I stayed in the Duplex Suite, which was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pictures online don't adequately depict the ambience. The terrace was not usable, however, it did not detract at all from my stay. For me, my hotel stays are really about service (which is why I prefer the boutique hotels and resorts). I can not adequately express in words the phenomenal service I received by the entire Angler staff (from room service, to the continental breakfast - which was included in my package, to car rental, to great places to eat and dance, to valet parking). If you're looking for an ocean view look elsewhere. If you're looking for great service in Miami Beach (South Beach), then look no farther than the Angler Resort. Did I mention that you also receive cards with your name and direct line to your room? So, no more searching for a pen and trying to remember the number to your hotel... Again, AMAZING

“A+++ Hotel”

My husband and I recently went to Miami to celebrate our anniversary. We were looking forward to the night life at South Beach on Ocean Drive, but also a nice, quiet, comfortable hotel to return to at the end of each day. This is exactly what we got at the Angler's. Upon our arrival we were immediately greeted by very friendly staff members and shown to our room (a tower duplex) which I must add was amazing. The remainder of the hotel grounds were also very well maintained and beautiful. The hotel is a short two block walk away from the beach which is another plus. The Angler's makes going to beach even more convenient because you can arrange for beach chairs and umbrellas at the hotel before you even head over to the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, clean, quiet hotel with top notch service from the staff, and very close proximity to the beach and South Beach's nightlife. I will definitely return here again on my next stay.

“Fabulous”

The hotel needed some minor repairs (ie. shower caulking, hole in closet wall at the bottom, patch worke to be completed in the hallway by bathroom ) and the restaurant was not open while we were there however the staff and service was fantastic. The gym also was not open. I will stay there on my next trip.
